Actually that $20K a month raises an interesting possibility. When the private link to his Patreon only show leaked there were only about 100 people in it. If it costs $20 a month to listen and he makes $20,000 that implies 1000 donors. And yet he only got 100 listeners. Of course there could be a few whales paying more but you'd need a lot of them to skew the numbers that much. What seems more likely is that he's got a lot of people who are still paying but maybe not watching live. Some of them might listen to the audio. I bet a fair few people just didn't cancel their Patreon. These are the people he'd lose if he decides to defend shit like lolicon.

It's hard to imagine a show that is conservative politically having a majority of the audience think that Dick's stance on lolicon is right. Or particularly funny to be honest. Mind you I've never found Dick's bran of humor amusing, so what do I know.

The more I think about it the more I'm convinced Dick was being deliberately disingenuous.

At one point he started talking about Null's stream and the inaccuracies in Null's statements. Kept saying he wanted to address the inaccuracies and how he had an issue with what Null said but all he could bring up is the chick was 20 and not 18? Thats a pretty common tactic to discredit people - question or call out one aspect of their statement or characted to put a neutral observer into doubt about all they say without actually addressing their other comments.

Maybe I have my tinfoil hat on too tight but maybe it was a sneaky way of making Null sound unreliable just in case his pay pigs decide to independently check what else was said about Dick.

Nah I been around the drug scene before and the dealer is king or at least held in high regard. The dealer could knock out a 15 year old kid and the adult dependents around him wouldn't care. It's not easy to find a good solid dealer who is convenient and has good product and pricing. It's a fucked up thing that happens in life.
