I've never heard anyone say that either outside of the edgier posts on very few places on the internet. All of these idiots acting like people are saying that "black lives don't matter" is some mainstream position are flat out lying and trying to guilt trip and/or are delusional. All but the most sheltered and/or stupid of white people know that you have to be careful about saying something that can even be interpreted as racist around black people if you're in a school or work setting lest you lose your position; add the now ubiquity of cameras everywhere this now applies everywhere and you can become the next viral pariah all due to a video clip that's posted without context. The treatment of blacks is basically that they're godlike figures who constantly need help from society while being your super cool and tough social superiors who will gang up to attack you if they think that they heard the word 'nigger' uttered even if no one was talking.
Old Navy and Hulu in particular have commercials that always piss me off. Early in the lockdown Old Navy had some generic "It's 2020 and everything is crazy" ad with le toilet paper maymay. That was ok. Then they had the ad with that song where they made a big portrait out of pieces of clothing. Ok. Then their most recent one starts talking about "red, blue, 16% undecided" Oh, "but 2020 had us shook, so we gave the world another look" Cue BLMLGBBQ shit. Then there's the Hulu ads talking about binge watching shit on your couch as an emotional cope and that's creepy enough. But there's one with the lines "This moment feels different, a change has begun. Hard to believe the year's only half done" and (iirc) "things may be hard, but we're on a new path". Which just feels like an admission that this is all being done for social engineering.
