She says, "Black people already have black only plays! They have 'The Color Purple', they have 'The Lion King'. They also have 'Aida' which is all black except for one role which is white. And they just announced that moving forward they will be re-casting the one white role as black only. Now when Broadway reopens, there's going to be a ton of actors fighting for whatever roles there are because none of us have worked and they're taking those away from us by wanting to just cast black people for white roles? How the fuck is this not racist?!"

Amazing...I've been friends with her (and have played on some shows she was in which is how we became friends) for over two decades. She was always a typical liberal actor. I never spoke politics with her or tried to convert her. The past few weeks she's been posting some aggressive anti-Trump stuff, which she never does. I asked her what's up with all the hardcore politics all of a sudden. She says, "I have no choice. A couple of actors have mentioned that they haven't seen me support BLM on my facebook wall and that want a solid answer if I support it or not so I have no choice. I don't support it but I'm getting threatened." All it took to start shoving her towards the right was BLM. Keep going BLM - you're doing the Lord's work.

Even better, I asked her, "So why are you bitching to me? You're preaching to the converted." She replies, "You're the only one I can trust. Who am I gonna call? Other actors? If anyone heard me saying this, I'd never work again."

Not as extreme as your example, but I have a friend (also in that industry) that had a similar path that yours did. It was very fun to watch and be one of the people they could vent to. Love to see it.

Not really. Dress up the Russia shit with all the rhetoric you like from treason on down, and it's still a muddy foreign policy decision, not the kind of shit you impeach a President over. A burglary, though, is a good old-fashioned actual crime, and covering it up still makes you an accessory after the fact. It may not be as grand a drama and seem petty and sordid, but breaking and entering to commit a felony on a property is as normal a crime as you can get.

If you had Paul Manafort kicking a door down to steal something behind it and Trump covering that up you'd actually have a pretty solid impeachment case, not just hot air.

The riots need a new snack van that serves burritos, curry, Fiber One bars, and sugar free Haribo gummi bears. Actually, Donald Trump will have reduced legal immigration by 49% (from 2016) by 2021, and our refugee ceiling has already been decreased by 84% (again since 2016). The problem is that none of this is black letter law, and all of it will be rolled back immediately if he loses or the Trump movement ends. He has had plenty of blunders and done plenty I don't like, but I'm willing to chalk a lot of that up to the entire government fighting him tooth and nail every inch of the way. His main blunders have really been in not cleaning house and picking staff better.

He's just a fucking intern. That's the gayest way I've ever seen anyone put "intern" on a CV.

If he isn't charged with anything then I doubt he'll be at risk of losing his clearance. But if he doesn't self-report the arrest (regardless of charges) to his employer then he's definitely going to have a problem. If he doesn't have a clearance yet (intern) then he might not get one. If he ever has to take a polygraph he's going to have an uncomfortable time justifying some of his answers.

I've done tons of factory work, the spooks they send from the temp agency are so worthless we could get more done if they hadn't sent them. Labor Ready is the worst.

Even if he is honest with his security officer, having a clearance isn't a right. He's opened himself up to being compromised by being around and within communication of government labelled terrorist organization. Security briefings the last 2 months have told civilians and contractors not to get involved with the protests. He's going to lose his clearance.
