This. I also don't think it's entirely accurate to say Khet gave up social media because DSP asked her too. Even someone like Kat is smart enough to recognize DSP has a not insignificant amount of detractors that would spam her feed with horse or possession memes or whatever. I can't imagine she'd want to interact with DSP's actual fans either, given how creepy they are. While I don't think she has much foresight given she decided to marry Phil, I think she at least is able to recognize that, unlike Phil, if she wants to avoid people, she needs to make a new account that isn't a variation on her previous ones. Even then, I don't imagine she'd be too active with it, or if she is, she's just posting the most generic uninteresting stuff. Precisely, Kat's a boring person when it comes to anything from her mouth. The interesting part about her is storied history. The ChaosRealm streams showed a bit more personality from her, but nothing actually unique. The strongest opinion that we got from her is that golf isn't a real sport.

Nah she "gave it up" for herself because (I think) she knows DSP has a lot of trolls and experienced some of it that time on stream when she was clearly triggered. Seemed to me that DSP wanted the opposite from her, he wanted to basically monetize his wife (in line with his pre-Khet reveal bragging).

Also I agree with others here who say she has social media accounts just under different names. At the very least this would be the case with Youtube. Your comment also assumes Jenna and Kat are on good terms, are close, talked much at all over the years etc. Jenna is a fucked up homeless retard, probably more of a burden to Kat than anything else.

The guy makes over $120k a year in a household with two incomes (Kat barely makes anything, but she's still making a bit), no children, one small pet, very little travel expenses since Phil works from home, no vacations as they're both shut ins, (allegedly) home cooked meals most times, the bankruptcy has been "won"...if Phil's still even close to financially insecure like he claims, his money's gotta be going somewhere serious he's not telling anyone about.
• Kat does nothing. She's given up or is incognito on social media, she seems to have very little or no contact with her family, she works for only a handful of hours a week and has few friends, Phil's a terrible socially incompetent husband who she probably barely talks to; it looks to me like she's got literally nothing and no one in her life aside from videogames. With an existence that miserable and empty who wouldn't need to get high just to stay sane? Plus if she was taking downers they'd probably kill her sex drive and make her ok with the fact Phil's effectively asexual and unwilling to fulfill her needs.

Possible in the most technical of senses since we really don't know much of anything about what she does during the day, and the few tidbits we do know comes from Phil, who is a completely unreliable source. I'd pretty confidently say it is overall unlikely though, if for no other reason I honestly believe they are both too socially inept to purchase drugs.

If Phil were honest about his financial system, I'd say the theory holds a little more water, but we know his begging, especially post bankruptcy, is just him crying to his paypigs. That isn't to say his financial situation is good, he really does piss away a lot of his money and has no concept of saving, plus it sounds like he's a sucker for buying overpriced/unnecessary things, but he's not on the verge of losing his home or having everything shut off like he (sometimes) claims.

Kat does live a pretty simple life, but I think she's just an incredibly basic person and is apparently content having so little going on. In a way, Kat is a lot like some of Phil's fans, minus being a paypig, at least as far as we know. There's a lot of Phil's fans who are so invested in him because they don't have many friends or a social life. They're either unemployed or work a pretty basic job, where I can't imagine they have a lot of friends. They really don't have any ambitions, so they're happy just throwing money at Phil, and the one general shared interest is playing video games. With Kat, you just replace Phil with whatever YouTube LPers she watches. Hell, I wouldn't be surprised if she watched other people on Twitch too.

The only way we'll ever really learn more about Kat is if Phil says something, and I think the detractor community actually knows more about Kat than Phil does. Sure, he knows some of the smaller superficial details, but I'd legitimately be surprised if he ever asked about her past or expressed any kind of interest in whatever she does during the day. At best, we'll get a couple of amusing anecdotes, like Phil passive aggressively complaining about Kat's cooking or her not enjoying Phil's ideal vacation of visiting a greasy pizza joint and a zoo before getting married.

The most I know about Kathy is that she drinks alcohol. In her arrest history she has zero drug arrests, and she also doesn't have any alcohol related arrests so even if she's a problem drinker she is at least a responsible problem drinker who doesn't drive drunk and only gets drunk above the legal limit at home. If you go back through various statements that Phil has made it sounds like as a household they go through 1½ to 2 750ml bottles of liquor per week. Phil himself seems to have pretty consistently consumed at least slightly more than 1 750ml bottle of liquor weekly at home. Phil also incessantly cried at Kathy in text messages that he was an alcoholic who desperately needed her because only she understood him. 'I'm a sad-boi who needs your help to clean up my life' sounds better than 'I'm a man-child who literally needs you to clean my house and chauffeuse me around' I guess.
Kathy sounds like she has 1 to 2 drinks with dinner a few times a week. Phil currently sounds like he has 3 to 4 drinks every single day or every other day he has 5 to 7 drinks.

She does have a history of being legally forced into mental health treatment, and stated on one of the IRL streams that she has Panic Attacks that make her "it sucks. You really feel like you're going to die!"
So if she's on drugs they are most likely prescription psych meds.
