Real talk though, the suicide seed doesn't drop far from the tree. I'd talked around to a couple people that claimed to know her before all the Ralph stuff kicked off, there were allegations of abuse and neglect (mainly her parents being controlling, her only being able to socialize online and being isolated from her peers, expectations that she would do everything in the house while her parents went off and did fun stuff without having to worry about minding their ever-increasing brood of young children.) The fact that she ran off as soon as she could is pretty telling - and the fact that she didn't come right back home when things got hard for her is too.

All this may have triggered her father because he didn't want to be exposed but now that he's realized the jig is up and there's no way of forcing her back into the house he's going to just go nuclear blast furnace on her ass so she has no credibility. And maybe in the hope that she'll have to return home so things will go back to how they "should" be.

This pulls us back to my question of last week, the need to pick a side. They're all shit people and they've all got decent reasons to be shit people.

Just look at his flex with the firearms permit, the image he presents to the world is a man struggling to project power and control but having never fully grown into the role of a man and still clutching at childish things (steampunk, ghost hunting, etc.). Not saying dad's a saint or something, but sometimes teenagers exaggerate to get sympathy and attention. If she has younger siblings, they were probably getting more attention than her as well. And when you have siblings, you are asked to watch them and/or do things around the house that may seem like you are being abused, but as you get older, realize that's what being part of a family is about. Not saying her parents didn't overuse that, but if she was asked to babysit once a week so her parents could go on dates or watch her brother while her mom went to the store, that's not excessive, even though it seems like it as a teen.

Plus all the asking for money and playing several guys makes me question her version of events. If however she was a prisoner, had to watch her siblings 24/7, and do all the housekeeping, why only leave the house for Ralph? Why not escape to any of her other multitude of simps like the dildo guy? Why would she wait to run away until she graduated if life at home was hell and she had to escape? Because he was the only one who gave her a plane ticket?

To me the dad seems to be wanting her to hit rock bottom, realize she is getting benefits (ie taking the phone he pays for), and try to make her see she needs them. It's tough love, but aside from not tweeting about this, what options does the guy have left?

I still disagree. I see the typical teenager thinking they know everything going out into the world to prove their parents wrong. I would actually bet that rather than having mental issues, she actually has drug abuse issues. That would explain her extended medical facility stay, she might be in rehab. These days those are treated the same as mental illness. As for how he is airing dirty laundry on twitter, I think its because she called his bluff. I think she specifically chose ralph because he was somewhat of a public figure and she told her father that if he tried anything that she would have a big enough mega phone to turn the world against him, and he said hold my beer. Sometimes, if you love something, you have to let it go. If it comes back then good for you, if it gets hit by a gunt well thats why you have more than one kid just in case rickets gets one of them.

I don't know what kind of parent does this kind of thing on Twitter of all places. Exposing something so incredibly private as a 10 day stay at a psych ward to random people online. Perhaps he figures we will eventually come across the information and get ahead of it so to speak. I've extensively gone through most of Faith's shit and I have to say I see no evidence of neglect or abuse from her parents (besides these bizarre tweets from today). Faith seems like an awkward teen who spends most of her life online, this is not particularly unusual. She has literal thousands of hours online making random videos, tweets, social media, etc. This is not consistent with someone who has restrictive parents or is busy in any way, shape, or form. While her behavior is disturbing it seems to border on psychopathy and not an abuse victim, her relationship with the delusional meth head is highly indicative of this. Almost everything that I have seen with Faith in text form serves to either subvert or manipulate the reader. I need more data then what's readily available to get a more accurate image of this girl.

Her father seems detached a bit from reality, is actively coping on Twitter, seems to be a bit of an attention whore, and is likely exasperated with his daughter. I would guess that he's decided to communicate with her now openly through Twitter, which seems like insanity to me but is perhaps his only option. It's clear her parents have failed her at this point, I wonder how long this insane behavior has been going on. If they believed half of the things said they are incredibly gullible to say the least. What a disaster, I wonder if Faith even planned on returning to Gunty or did she stock away some extra cash to escape to places unknown?
