It does look like he's trying to choke her out from behind, but I imagine he was thinking it looked like he was hugging or protecting her or something, plus hiding the gunt, but because of his facial expression and having an arm around her neck, it looks menacing.

If he did some prep and stopped watching sites like this, twitter, and discord during his show, ER's interviews would have to be a little better. It really looks and sounds disrespectful to the guests and his lack of prep and interest in the guests is amplified by being on camera.

I mean nobody will know for sure kinda weird that he was with her at the time to prove to us it was him since he had Faiths cell phone then shortly after she is with Ralph doing a timestamped shot of them together. The ID card could honestly be an expired card of her fathers he was gonna cut up but maybe she kept it as a keepsake and used it to fake that it was him on twitter.

Ralph is the bigger fuck-up by virtue of squandering the good luck that came upon him. He got where he was despite his lack of talent, and remained the bitter manchild he always was. What's left after all of this? A mother he neglects, and habits he can't afford.

Matt, on the other hand, has a stable life outside of the internet. He also has talent, unlike Ralph. Matt can live with himself outside of this internet bullshit, Ralph can't.
