I personally don't think Saint Patrick's Day is racist. It's a celebration of what makes Irish men and women great. If anything it is the proof of the world's love for the Irish.

From a surface reading of the comments at the very least he's alive and probably conscious according to his brother. If he's just resting at home he likely doesn't have any serious damage, which is good news. Whether he sustained any permanent damage from the attack I'm not really sure.
St. Patrick wasn't even Irish and the Irish were treated so poorly in America that when the Africans started to show up here, they were referred to as "Smoked Irish", and then the Irish were later referred to as "white niggers." Historians and especially cultural Marxists have tried to drive a giant wedge between the Irish and other minority populations in America by painting the Irish as having benefited from "white privilege", but the Irish were treated like absolute dog-shit over here until well into the 19th century.
