Yeah, for whatever reason the entire demographic of left-wing people somehow believe that black people cannot obtain an ID, and it's racist if you think they should get one. It's the whole 'racism of low expectations' shit once again, same old tired trope the leftists always drag out. They seem to think all black people are way too poor to afford an ID [costs like 8 bucks in my state for a basic ID, not license] or they think that black people aren't smart enough to go to the DMV and fill out paperwork.
It really hit me when the National Museum of African American History and Culture came out with that dumb ass "Assumpions of Whiteness and White Culture" graphic: the BLM movement and the actual Neo Nazis are making the exact same arguments - black people are stupid, incompetent, and unreliable. Except the left uses the arguments to infantize and "pander" to us.
I think the point was to make the country hate black people more by telling them that black people can commit all the felonies that we want, but you aren't allowed to be mad at us.
I think the other point was to make white people abandon their black friends if their black friends DIDN'T want people committing murder and arson. That I'm not really black just like Terry Crews isn't black anymore. Not that I would know about that of course.
Also I think the lefts leadership wanted to show clear examples of how if you want to get away with civil disobedience, you have to play on their side of the field. The proof here being that plenty of white antifa are getting pardoned/ignored/lionized. Compare of course to the MSM and social media wanting to spill the blood of the white anti-lockdown protestors.

I'm tired of this chimera of Original Sin, Wrong Think and Social Credit bullshit. You can't even work at fucking Walmart or a gas station without having this 'sensitivity/diversity training' bullshit shoved down your throat. Especially since the very same people who get worthless degrees at college will end up bouncing right into the HR office at most of the corporations because it's the only job in a business environment they're even remotely qualified to do.
I thought the busybody HR woman obsessed with stupid, petty non-problems was just a theme at a few of my former workplaces, now it seems like busybody HR women are running half the fucking world and the employees suffer just as much as the bottom line due to their interference.
During the Democratic primaries, I was working on a theory that the left was feeling outright embarrassed by the black community. They tried out all their liberal policies on blacks before the nationwide rollouts, and it just made life worse for them. Going into the late 90's, they kind of gave up because they ran out of fixes.
I think that's how intersectionality came into prominence. The usual excuses of "blacks aren't the problem, they just need more welfare/benefits/jobs/education/funding" failed for the 40 years after The Great Society. They ran out of excuses, and needed a new one for why liberal policies didn't work in the cities they controlled.
So they came up with "blacks aren't the problem, everything else is racist and oppressing them". At least the Marxists were honest when they were trying class analysis; intersectionality just treats the labelling of any class as the analysis itself.
I don't really think thats how it played out. Anyone with half a brain can look at the historic policies towards blacks both government and corporate within their neighborhoods in the last 100 years and see they were essentially manipulated the entire time. No positive cultural role models, no positive family values (until Cosby, but he was dealt with), no positive media message to get involved in society. But instead to make a parallel criminal society, where America and it's laws don't exist, just the laws of the black man. It's completely intentional. You think they have all these multimillion dollar rappers with the full support of corporate America, tell kids to fuck the police for no reason?
