Piracy makes a copy, so there is no material loss or gain. You can argue about potential lost revenue, but that would assume the pirate would have bought the product legally if there was literally no other alternative, which is iffy at best.

The 3 d gun never got that far but safety standards would be a factor if you 3d'ed printed a car.
And the 3 d gun 99% of the time blew up on the user on first shot.

IIRC, there's an industrial printer that can print a car.
