Not posting this to target Robbie. I think he's a good dude and I respect him. His viewpoint isn't unreasonable. He had to deal with false accusations, too.

I'm just posting this to remind everyone that Vic answers literally EVERY email he gets, even if it takes him months to answer. He has answered every single unimportant email I've ever written to him. Even last year during the controversy when he was receiving hundreds of mails per week, he decided to answer them all.

Goes to show you again that the other VA's can't stand Vic because he's willing to go the extra mile for his fans. He'd do anything for them, no matter how much time it takes. And he still managed to be a damn good voice actor while doing so.

Last I heard Vic was just submitting his appeal. What has happened since (specifically regarding the appeals, not the drama)

There is a submission deadline on September 22nd before a panel "without oral argument":
The case has been set for submission without oral argument on Tuesday, September 22, 2020, before a panel consisting of Chief Justice Sudderth, Justice Womack, and Justice Wallach.

Now, you may think "Without oral argument? Now that's strange," but @Nontransferable looked into the Texas Second Court of Appeals and it seems that the court has been consistent with this procedure on all the cases that have come before it since February. All of them have been "without oral argument." Whether or not this is a reaction to COVID-19 is up for debate.

He has missed a couple of emails I've sent him lol but they weren't important.

I will say I send him virtual cards sometimes and with those there's no way to reply back and he'll send me a thank you with his other email. So that's sweet. He doesn't need to send me a thank you email but he does 😊

BT you stupid fuck, Funimation and Crunchyroll are scummy for not respecting the integrity of the creations licensed to them and the audience they intend to profit from. These companies need to offer better service and leave Western ideologies out of translations.
Agreed. Their jobs as a dubbing studio and company is to translate the japanese language into english and appropriate it slightly to our culture (what I mean is that obvious pop references or what have you in japan won't carry the same weight in america so they'd have to tweek it a bit to make it more understandable for north american watchers since we're not as familiar with what goes on over there).

Inserting ham fisted political messages that apply to the real world is something most anime watchers don't give a fuck about. They want to see giant robots fight and shit get blown up with magic or just watch people live their every day lives without getting preached at about how awful they are for having certain opinions or beliefs. Anime is an escape, not a medium for the agendas of insane people.

Well, this is unfortunate.
The YouTube channel of cornbreadman (who was a great source for getting archived Weeb Wars related streams) had their channel nuked:

Whether they did it themselves or someone flagged it is unknown, but I hate it when an archive channel goes under because all of the lost data may not be available to reupload.

Indeed, I found it annoying if they have a villain sound like Trump, despite it not being that way in the original Japanese version. That's way i like watching the subtitles of the original then the dubs.

I mean, it is practically known that being KV means that you're either

A Troon
A Furfag
A Karen
A Cuck
A Soyboy
A Femcel
A Wife Beater
A Dangerhair
A Pedophile
A Faux Lawyer
A Mega Degenerate
A Neckbeard/Legbeard
A Criminal, or someone with a criminal record
A Tumblrfag/Tumblr Refugee on Twitter
An Underaged Fanboy/girl
An Overaged man/womanchild
An Abuser

Or all of the above.

Where is the category for crisis actors?

He sure got under your skin didn't he you fucking nigger.
What BT doesn't understand is that ISWV aren't drones, and not just fans of fans of Vic, but people who follow the evidence and feel that the evidence supports Vic in this case and the people against Vic have proven themselves to be really unlikeable which cause some to support Vic purely out of spite.

VIc is superhuman. I'm not sure if Robbie hates Vic or not, but Robbie seems pretty likeable, or at the very least he keeps his bullshit private (I haven't really heard anything from him either way on this thread from what I remember.)

All the briefs in the appeal have been filed. September 22nd is basically the earliest date the court of appeals will render its judgement. The decision could take days, weeks, or months.
The "no oral argument" decision makes me think they might want this to be over as soon as possible.
I don't expect a written ruling right away, because no one likes paperwork, but I wouldn't be surprise if one is issued before the end of September.

As mentioned above, the lack of oral arguments has been standard procedure for this court since the coof started screwing with America back in the spring. Don't read anything into it.

Still. If they were oral arguments, I would expect them to take time to unfold what have been said.
Standard procedure or not, without oral argument, there is no reason to postpone a ruling. The best moment to rule is when the judges are all together, with all the elements in their hands. It would be particulary unefficient for them to wait later to rule, after they have forgot most of the content of the lawsuit, and when they're all working on other stuffs. Why would they make it last longer than they need anyway?
