I’ve been surprised at Dax’s obvious cognitive decline over the past few years. There was a point at which he came across as a bright guy. But now, as one friend put it, he’s “like an ESL student who is incapable of understanding literally any slang term.“ Even basic ones like “Karen” and “beta.” Is this just drugs eating his brain or does he have syphilis that’s advanced to the neurosyphilis stage?

Dick's got a lot of sex related skeletons in his closet and I really think he just can't judge these people because he's as bad or worse. If the texts were to come out today instead of when they did, people would have seen his manipulative, shitty behavior in a whole different light, but at that point he hadn't begun his full implosion. People just went, oh well it's a woman I don't care, she's stupid. Everyone ignored the disgusting elements because "it's normal to lie to get some", when it's really not.
