I get the impression they're waiting for Antifa's version of the Haymarket bombing, which seems like it's on its way. They're getting crazier and crazier as they're allowed to get away with anything. When they're finally told no in a decisive way, someone or many someones are going to snap and do something stupid enough to go after them for.

Facebook is coming hard after Antifa? Fuck, first there's a turbo-mainstream video game that has an announcement trailer with actual clips of Yuri Bezmenov and explicit references to left-wing radicals and communist subversion in it and now Facebook's purging Antifa en masse?
This is like the reverse of when they perma-banned any positive or even neutral mention of Alex Jones, Paul Joseph Watson, and the Proud Boys but then tacked on Louis Farrakhan to that list to appear fair and balanced. I think the QAnon and militia purges (which were already a thing) is a token thing like the Farrakhan ban from last year.

They did it. The mad lads actually fucking did it. The DNC and the corporate bigwigs have cut the line on their formerly useful idiots.
Antifa is imperially fucked and they just don't know it yet. If they push their luck too far and pull a stunt so stupid that it'll form a trilogy alongside Haymarket and Oklahoma City then it's game over.
BLM's probably on thin ice as well, but openly banning them online is still bad optics for the time being.

No, it just means that given all the trouble that facebook has from the federal government at the moment they don't want to make things potentially much worse legally for themselves by publicly supporting (if not outright facilitating through groups, etc..) antifa, considering its been declared a literal terrorist organization. This is facebook not wanting to get ass raped by the feds and trying to preemptively cover their ass so they can say 'see? we clamped down on those violent terrorists' should any legal action, federal or otherwise be pointed in their direction at some point for antifas actions and their previously having a bunch of groups and propaganda hosted on their platform

Someone suggested that Teespring threw Antifa off of it because they got some subpoenas from the feds asking who bought certain shirts. The thing being if they responded to said subpoenas, groups like the NLG and ACLU would immediately sue Teespring to try and force them to not respond to the subpoena. It's lose lose for them, either way they're out hundreds of thousands of legal fees.
I suspect Facebook had a similar meeting. Feds black bag a few goons, grab their phones, get a list of all the Facebook groups they're in. Figure out 2 or 3 of them are being used by Antifa to organize their insurrection. Subpoena Facebook. Facebook legal freaks out.

I'm told that law enforcement is always slow to act, but once they do, it's suddenly, swift and thorough. Building a case in finding out who's who, fitting the pieces together and gathering evidence is understandably a long process.
Then again, I once heard it suggested that Antifa are assets for the global intelligence community, unwitting and otherwise. It wouldn't surprise me if some of them (ie: the ones you won't hear about) have paramilitary training and may one day be truly dangerous, although that's yet to be seen.
In attacking open racists and right-wingers, they effectively engage in political terror in neutralizing any potential threat to the current order. For people who are antisocial miscreants high on their own ideology (as well as a plethora of drugs), these activists are surprisingly well supported by resource rich organizations like the National Lawyers Guild whose legal work, when successful, effectively enable them to commit felonies or suffer the lowest possible consequences for their actions.

Oof, I hope this is another case of rats leaving a sinking ship..... FB cutting ties hopefully means something big is in the pipeline, either they're afraid that ANTIFA are actually going to succeed in killing someone soon and they don't want the bad optics of trying to massage the "peaceful protesters" narrative around a man with a caved-in head. Or maybe someone from the Federal level started asking the kind of questions that make lawyers practically tackle you and hold your mouth shut..... and they realize that they're looking uncomfortably like a "co conspirator" in some future indictment FOR that about-to-happen murder or just the millions in riot damages and general lawlessness....

True, but I'd also think something as big as Rose City Antifa would stay up longer just so the Feds can get more info that they can use as evidence. Give me the rainbow stickers all you want but just let me play Devil's Advocate for a bit.
Rose City Antifa is the largest Antifa gang in what is the largest Antifa network in the country (Torch Network) and they have dozens of affiliates and subsidiary gangs just within the Portland area alone. The city they claim to operate out of is also the same city where the worst left-wing violence is occurring right now and has also been their own fiefdom for over a decade same as how 1950's-1970's Las Vegas and pre-Castro Cuba were for the Italian Mafia.
If anything, Rose City Antifa's Facebook page is going to be one of the last ones to go. There's no doubt a goldmine of evidence to use against Antifa there, and probably an entire armory's worth of smoking guns to use in federal indictments.
Between Teespring's ban, the Facebook purges, the MSM's continual drifting away from praising BLM and Antifa and towards COVID-19 panicking and coverage of Biden and Kamala, and the new Call of Duty teaser trailer that dropped today, I think we're seeing the Woke Left losing the support of the bigwigs
As dumb and autistic as citing the COD trailer sounds as evidence, it's probably a lot bigger deal than it looks.
Call of Duty is one of the biggest mainstream normie video game franchises right up there with Madden and mobile games.
This same mainstream series has announced their newest title with a video that featured several eerily relevant snippets of Yuri Bezmenov's seminars set to footage of the Vietnam War, the 1968 Chicago riots, and Soviet militarism juxtaposed with quick images of the LA Riots and modern-day protests and looks like it'll be more focused on story than multiplayer shenanigans. And the communists are clearly depicted as the bad guys.
I really do think we might be seeing the first major signs of the line finally being cut. It's all very slowly and then it cascades all at once.

Why is the font for "Jews and" different from the font for the rest of the big text? It's a serif font, while the rest is sans-serif. The quote is damning enough without the addition, so why (badly) tack it on?
