Probably late on this one, but I like how phil is respectful of Gojitenks at first, but then the excuses come rolling out, over and over.

A few highlights from tonight:
Phil acknowledged this evening that there appears to be a group that don't want to see the vest streak end, and will always tip at the end to save it if it hasn't been met. He theorized that they wait until the end so they can always tip what's needed and not have to always do the full amount. Wow Phil. I wonder what gave you that idea?
He also commented during this theory that the vest goal always seems to get hit. He realized shortly after that this brag was a bad idea and walked that back, saying that sometimes, these benevolent souls who always tip are not there. Sometimes. A good save considering he spent months bitching that people took the streak for granted, only to finally say that they might as well take it for granted.
Several people cheered or tipped with larger paragraphs and Phil openly mocked them for doing so, reminding everyone that they need to keep things concise because he wasn't going to read paragraphs. He then followed this by immediately mentioning that they were still short of the vest streak and he hopes people will tip sooner rather than later.
GoldenNobles made some derogatory comment about Phil constantly talking about the vest streak. Phil went in on him, repeatedly calling him stupid, and saying that him talking about the tips goal is 'advertising' and that it would be stupid to have it there and not talk about it. GN is stupid... not for saying this, but for ever giving Phil money.
I'm not sure how plugging a goal is 'advertising' when you're offering nothing for it. I thought, as explained to Nancy, that tips are gratuity for Phil doing a good job... how can you advertise for people to give you gratuity? The whole system kind of falls apart when the service you are offering is begging. Whatever, let's not overthink this, let's just shit on one of our most consistent and long-running paypigs.
And Phil seems to be losing patience with IcedCoffee who was getting a little edgy with the detractor-referencing cheers this evening.
He also ragequit a round of FallGuys because his team were allegedly doing nothing. He would have lost and been eliminated anyway, so this was literally just so he didn't have to witness the loss. It was the mature thing to do, I assume.

So two things to unpack from this.
One, the admittance that the Vest Goal being hit isn't exactly representative that most of your viewers are enjoying what you're doing, it's conflated by a small number of people.
Two, dropping the illusion that Phil is not a salesman like other streamers. I don't see how "advertising" your Vest Goal would be part of your true and honest commentary.
So why should the viewers care about the Vest Streak anymore if it's no longer about the fans and rather a small circlejerk between whales? And how can you maintain that nobody cares or should care about the Vest Streak being hit if you're constantly bringing it up?
This also feels like it'll be major reinforcement for the inevitable "It was my viewer's fault the streak ended! They took it for granted!" rant. You dumb assholes thought those nice people would be around forever and you let it die. Shame on you!

I wouldn't be surprised if OnlyIcedCoffee tries to brag about getting banned from the Pig amongst his friends or in the chats of detractor channels. Giving Phil money for your own amusement is always stupid but there's a difference between being the retarded troll giving him $1 and being the troll giving him enough to be a Paypig. If you want to piss off Phil with a troll message, then either post here regularly on the farms or write your troll message when he's looking at chat. Both of these options give no money to Phil and not giving him money brings out the best salt

From how it sounds OIC is on his way out. Not by his choosing necessarily, but by Phil. Snowkarl and Pwdubz are the two most recent examples of people who thought money means they get to joke around with Phil. This “entitled fuck” needs to learn his reward is giving Master Phil money and that joking around is forbidden. Wouldn’t be surprised if this is the last vest streak celebration Phil hits after he ends up driving OIC away or bans him.

While I don't expect Phil to suffer terribly for what seems to be inevitable because it's the one area I can agree that pigroach luck is real, it certainly would be justice for his toxic nature to drive away enough whales to put a permanent end to the vest streak. Not just because he's a piece of shit, but because he's a piece of shit who doesn't pay enough attention to what kinds of people give him the most money. They're not big on brains, which he knows, but he doesn't seem to know that with their limited observation skills, they, as has been pointed out, don't see it coming that their whale status doesn't make them immune to what kind of person Phil is. They're going to be shocked by it, every single fucking time, and it would behoove Phil to take that into consideration whenever his natural urge to be an asshole kicks in and it's a whale in his cross-hairs.

Phil knows that idiots forget their subscriptions and he keeps getting money. It's the only reason his Patreon still exists. And Phil has very likely wasted money the same way. There's also the ego boost that Phil can put on top of his screen every day.
