A couple years ago, Lindsay started re-uploading all her old Nostalgia Chick content on an alternate channel after removing all of it from her main channel years earlier. She took it down initially because of her unhappiness with her Channel Awesome days and her dissatisfaction with her videos from then. When she started re-uploading them, I thought maybe...MAYBE...Lindsay was becoming a bit more mature than the other former CA producers who took down their videos for petty reasons. Better than say Lewis Lovhaug and Allison Pregler viciously attacking fans who made foreign language subtitles versions of their videos for non-english speaking fans because it supposedly hurt their monitized video views. Better than any of the former CA Producers (which includes Allison, again) who removed or edited videos with Doug Walker or Brad Jones in them as a pathetic middle finger to them.
It's always comes across to me as an incredibly disrespectful way to treat the audience who's continued viewership your success is based off. You're basically telling them, "When it comes to videos I've made in the past, you'll watch what I allow you to watch! The entertainment they provided to you means absolutely nothing to me and if it is to be my whim, I'll torch them without a second thought and I expect you to pretend they never existed. Money, clout and retribution against former collaborators are the only things I value." When you see them treating their audience like this, it's very satisfying to read tweets of their sob stories about how low their views have become and trying to guilt potential viewers into watching them.
But anyways, back to Lindsay...when she started re-uploading her old videos, I remember thinking good for her but at the same time I cynically wondered how long it would be before she took them all down again. Well...guess what?

So, based on her own disowning of that material and complaints she's gotten about them from her current toxic SJW viewership, she claims to be privating them just for awhile to get them out of YouTube's algorithm so they're not recommended to people. Yeah, sure. In the replies to her tweets, people suggested just making the videos unlisted and then making a playlist of all of them which would solve the algorithm issue. Lindsay did not reply to any of those tweets, of course. She also took down a fairly recent video of her's, "Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Genres Tell No Tales", due to her getting complaints about her commentary on
Johnny Depp & Amber Heard. You can see that video
here.

So yeah, Lindsay is playing this silly game again. You know that all of her old material will be back up again at some point either by her own action or somebody else's. I'd guess plenty of people have her entire Nostalgia Chick catalog downloaded somewhere but if they're still fans of hers they won't upload them for fear of upsetting their idol.
