That's the thing, the entire Democrat platform is "Get Trump out." Even if they were capable of expanding beyond that, they have zero record to run on the last four years, because they have done absolutely nothing but oppose Trump at every turn. Literally nothing else. And they can't even run on that because they've failed at it every fucking time.
Their platform has no substance, not even enough for most Dems, it's purely, 100% "orange man bad". They ran on more than that when their slogan was "Anybody but Bush" and it didn't work then, it sure won't work now.
I try to make a point of following leftists to get an idea of how they see the news and from what I can tell the main points they've got to run on are trannies, illegals, Russia, and Rona.
There's nothing special they can do for gays now, as everything with them is generally accepted as far as marriage and whatever, so their ability to lobby for the LGBT lobby is cut down to just the T.
Lobbying for illegals would be difficult right now when you have mass unemployment. Instead, they're trying to appeal to immigrant sympathizers with shit like Kamala being descended from immigrants.
Russia has been played out with the worst anyone can say about Trump or his people is that daring talk to Russians is equivalent to treason which sounds insane, leaving the saner Dems stuck having to cry about WELL ISN'T THIS SUSPICIOUS! Which is tiresome after the thousandth time you hear it.
Leaving us with the Kung Flu that more and more people are getting and finding that amazingly enough, they aren't keeling over dead. Schools opening up is making this even worse for Democrats since you get stories of thousands of new cases in schools, yet no one dying. I've gotten to hear more stories from people that had the Coof and now feel like fuck the masks due to how mild it was.
I guess there should be an honorable mention for the postal service, but that feels less like they're trying to defend the honor of an inefficient government agency and more like they're trying to save their asses from their own fear mongering (largely from left wing media) that has Democrats panic stricken over the Nu-Flu that could keep them from wanting to venture outdoors to vote.
