I was going to just keep this on the ANN thread, but it's too all encompassing to just keep it there.
I'm glad the Kissanime closure debacle and the Anitube Youtube channel is happening and causing ANN and Funimation and all of their backscratching bedfellow assfucking buddies to lose their collective shit and reveal their true colors. They can't lie from the fact that deep down, they're a bunch of dogmatic asshole kissass hipster dipshits who think politicizing their problems will be a good way to to make money and influence like the asshole tools that they are. Trying to foothold and gatekeep overseas anime importation and releases? Check. Messing with source material to make it "SJW compliant"? Check. Trying to make people who pirate anime "feel bad" to not only make themselves feel superior, but guilt trip people into putting money into their hack shit DVD company and ADV localization studio? Check and check. Using Twitter hoping to rally some cause like if they're the next Che Guevara? Call me rich, because cut me that CHECK.
There's so much I've already said over the months, but things have gone over so well since some nepotist slimeball had to pay death his due and was forced to nosedive facefirst into his own grave to pay it back. It's as if being out of touch whiny assholes who do nothing but consuum and expect the world to serve you with a silver platter turns you into the kind of nobility that France was all too willing to cut heads off of when they said "let them eat cake".

What a trio of imbeciles. Of course voice actors are obligated to be nice to the fans, even if that fan is a piece of shit. Not only are fans their main source of income but it makes them look better and even helps diffuse the situation.
Here's the thing, they choose not to do that. Instead, they escalate it. They do this by going online, behave unprofessionally, bashing their detractors and treating them like garbage (even if that detractor has a point and is even a fan him or herself) and making fools of themselves. Yet somehow, fans should be the ones apologizing?
So these people have no right to lecture about "basic human decency" when they've shown none of it. And when you demand an apology, you don't deserve it.
