Oh no, a totally irrelevant thing happening to people we happen to not like.

Hey, dumbfucks, when I use allegories, I do my best to be relevant to character and happenings. Last time I remember, ANN and friends are literally sponge ass vampires of tyrants, and Nick and Ty aren't building a wall to keep the cholos out. The Defense would happen to be YOUR end, assholes. Vic is the Plaintiff.

I forgot what is was like last week or something they tried to dunk on Nick for some other lawsuit that failed, but that lawsuit wasn't even anything close to anything like what Vic filed.

They also love to try to change what Vic actually filed in his lawsuit so they get a "win". Please appeals come back in Vics favor, we got a month till the hearing then however long for a decision.

I will forever pirate Detective Conan because I'm a salty bitch. I will go out of my way because Funi sat on it and let it ROT for YEARS even though fans repeatedly asked for a dub release (they also targeted the main translation project team with C&D letters), before finally relinquishing the rights to the series to crunchyroll back in 2014. They could have just dubbed the movies seeing as the dub was hundreds of episodes behind the Japanese release and everyone could have been happy with that.

TLDR: Detective Conan fangirl is salty at funimation for dropping the ball

TBF, the Dragon Ball Renaissance that started in 2013 gave Funimation a shot in the arm (gotta milk Ol' Faithful).
Then they picked up My Hero Academy.

Personally, I can't blame people for pirating when a series hasn't been released, has been only partially released, was only released with censorship/editing, is insanely expensive now, or when spoilers are running wild. Also, when the dub is inaccurate. Wasn't Funimation behind that Dangan Ronpa 3 dub, which I heard largely didn't match up with the actual dialogue at all?

I play video games far more than I watch anime. Anime is just the occasional binge for me. That said, I've enjoyed the DragonBall Xenoverse games. The canceling of Vic is why I haven't picked up DragonBallZ: Kakarot or Borderlands 3. I won't pay for anything those faggots have voiced in ever again. If people want to pirate anime to stick it to Funimation, I say give em' hell.

If you refuse to buy games certain VAs are in, though, you might never be able to play games with voice acting again. XD
