The real head scratcher is why he puts entire chapters of text on a frame of video while his voiceover is running a mile a minute with different words. For someone who supposedly cares so much about "ableism," he doesn't have any issue fucking with his audience when he's trying to cram all his (he thinks) beautifully crafted words into their brains. Someone needs to send Bob a copy of Stephen King's book On Writing, in which he tells writers that you have to "kill your babies" -- all those wonderful words and sentences you are so proud of yourself for coming up with, yet serve no use to the reader and only degrade your work.

That's the point. By denying the viewer any time at all to think, Bob makes it less likely that they will realize what he's saying is bullshit. There's a reason that the "fast-talking salesman" is a stereotype, after all. In this case, what Bob is selling is the illusion that he knows what he is talking about.

Stanford has been largely disproved for its original findings actually. The fact that it is still cited says more about how poorly run the psychological publication industry is rather than the strength of the experiment. Its actually says far more about the researchers who prepped and even outright told the inmates/prison guards to do what they did, but honestly that goes back to the white coat experiments which proved the same thing far more ethically.
