I found out about this site because some babyfur linked it in their Second Life account. I heard from someone else that Toyhouse apparently has rules against babyfurs along with NSFW content.

There is! I’m not too familiar with it but it pops up around tumblr from time-to-time with batshit insane drama. They seem to be pretty contained from what I can tell but it definitely exists and is as autistic as bronies. The community itself spawned from the spinoff show The Lion Guard which started in 2016.

I can confirm Bookiedookie's post, yeah it's pretty bad. I once went down a very odd rabbit hole on Facebook that was just full of Lion King roleplayers that were clearly not English speakers, but also hell-bent on shipping Elsa with their Lion King OCs. I'll try to re-find some of that stuff and post it in a more general thread.

Nsfw content is allowed but they have a flagging system both for accounts and specific artworks. They other thing is canon content isn't allowed. You cannot upload a character from xyz property and claim it as your own or make different versions, furries for example, of them.
The community has literally been begging for them to hire more moderation to address tickets about character theft or canon use or underage users. The Admins basically say they'll think about it but it's unlikely. Lol

All of those Hamilton characters are reportable because toyhou.se actually does not allow AU of characters that belong to other 'canon' properties. l o l

I do love toyhou.se but I can quite confidently say in the entire time I've used the site I've found maybe three or four characters I like, hidden in a constantly rising pile of shit.
Nothing will ever beat the spiritual experience of stumbling upon this guy though. He's obviously not one to worry about putting his personal information online and a good chunk of his characters are just himself in various cartoon universes, including Digimon, Sonic, My Hero Academia, Attack on Titan, Danny Phantom, and many many more.
Bonus points for this horrifying fusion between his Steven Universe insert and Steven.
Also worth noting that he occasionally posts characters which are just his parents, my personal favorite being this RWBY version of his bald dad, seemingly created by destroying a Naruto base.
His whole profile is just condensed classic dA autism.
Other than that, there's a lot of goofy shit to see on toyhouse, I'm glad to see a thread on it. I'll add to it whenever I find something worth sharing.

If you don't interact with anyone and don't go to the forums it does have a pretty good design for it's intended purpose. It also has a lot of decent features for keeping your content locked down so you can use the site with little to no footprint by keeping everything limited to either yourself or authorized viewers.
Interface isn't awful, it's probably why it's managed to keep chugging along. The "community" is furry infested so terrible and artists tend to be pretentious to begin with so any site with a lot of them on it will have drama and nonsense, it's part and parcel. If you only look at toyhou.se for it's actual function, sorting & managing characters art/literature, it's definitely one of the better ones out there.

I’ve actually been on the site. Got a code once (forgot how). And everything you guys are saying is correct, except there’s way more that isn’t available to the surface. I’m gonna make a quick rundown of shit
- Kids buying porn for themselves by commissioning adults
- Someone making more money than Chris and then leaving
- Hoarders that act like animals over a free jpg
- People who don’t know what copyright is
- “Steal my characters and I’ll break your kneecaps!”
- Bizarre fetishes
- Minors putting their underaged characters in nsfw games
- The vent board is in its 3rd itaration. I joined during the second one which got flooded with people breaking the rules.

This is a serious problem but that's the case across many sites. Toyhou.se is kind of shit because several times this has happened and it's taken a while for them to react, they really need a dedicated person dealing with this issue alone but it's also not something you can do a whole lot about because if they obviously lied to get access to adult portions of the site they're clearly willing to keep lying. The only way to catch them is to get them to openly admit they are underage, which I mean a lot of them do because they somehow think they're above the law, but there's probably a lot more kids in improper online spaces than most realize. Which is a problem that isn't just limited to toyhou.se itself but basically any site with adult content on the internet.
The community can be fairly good at discovering underage users, warning about them, and then keeping an eye for when they switch accounts but when your only recourse is to add a 'you must be 18 to view this' and a child clicks the 'I am' button or changes their birth-date to make them 'of age' it shouldn't be the fault of the website that the child is viewing the content based on willingly lying about who and what they are, imo. This is an internet issues that doesn't really have a good way to fix it as you kind of end up relying on people 'doing the right thing' and not breaking the rules / laws.
I enjoy when they do this and half their characters are made on dollmakers. L o L.
I personally love finding characters who're in violation of the rules. It brightens my day to report them.
My favorite thing is actually reading thew service reviews forum. The PSA threads are funny for all the near constant drama.

There's some kid who's done this like 4 times on 4 different accounts and they wouldn't listen until someone told them they'd get in serious shit bc they were interacting w 18+ people in these games which could get them arrested for cp
