I think that's accurate. When puberty hits and you start getting crushes and simultaneously start realizing that you're different from other guys, one of the most disheartening experiences is knowing that not only do you have no chance with ~95% of the guys you're into, you'll probably alienate them if you ever let them know how you feel. There's also an element of "virgin" or "supermodel-" the fantasy of scoring something that should be totally out of your league.

gay men are the ones leading the trends of female fashion and make up. They're the ones setting up the impossible standards for women that feminists complain so much about. All women do is to be competitive about them. All mainstream shit we women are expected to embrace are things that men don't want in women. For a casual date or one night out? Sure, but not for a long relationship or for a wife. Most men go for homely normal women who know how to dress well, not whore up.

I don't think they do it in purpose, they do it because that's what they would have to do to attract other men.

I hit peak faggot years ago when I realized they're over represented in the fashion industry. I'm not a HAES or BOPO advocate by any means, but the popularity of anorexic, emaciated and therefore boyish female models in this industry suddenly made sense when you realized gay men don't like female bodies, and want straight men attracted to something that more closely resembles twinks.

Just because exceptions exist (and not really, her figure is the other extreme, the one that drag queens will promote and try to recreate), doesn't invalidate observable patterns that span for decades in particular arenas of life. Eeew! This thread is making me uncomfortable in ways no other thread does. After reading the last 10 pages I feel sick to my stomach. There are no gross obeasts, no nasty troons, no multilated body parts & so on but the pictures & screenshots here are horrifying in their own special way because of what they show and/or implicate.
