He really simultaneously is doing his shtick of complaining about no unity in the left & then calling every other type of person on the left isn't correct. There's basically two points of view, one is that a better system can be created that will fix all of the above and have no - or little - drawbacks. I think this is what Vaush subscribes to, and the thing is yeah sure you can improve the system - the problem is that their expectations that it is simple, and that they couldn't possibly make it worse, but looking at almost every other system devised in any other time period suggests otherwise. In a strange sense, it is also presuming that this generation of left-wing political actors is somehow special, they're the ones who have finally cracked it. In reality, they haven't and noone ever will because this view of politics is retarded. This also connects with the other view, which is that the system is causing the problems of society and if only we can tear down the system everything will improve.

The reality is, for all its faults, society as things stand has solved problems we don't even know exist as we have never experienced them. This idea that what we have inherited is useless or not worthy of any preservation is dangerous.

I remember when Shoe and some other more progressive skeptics got on Bearing's case for doing replies to videos made by kids. But you know what Bearing never did? Challenge those kids to a debate to dunk on them. In fact, he generally went pretty light on the younger people he replied to, focusing on pointing out how their arguments were illogical instead of mocking them personally like he does with the likes of Steve Shives and Angry Aussie.

It was easier to shill Moldbug, when he confined himself to written blogs. I watched his stream with Michael Malice recently and I was a bit underwhelmed to be honest.

The concept of the Cathedral is one of the few genuinely useful ideas to come out of dissident right wing thought over the last decade.

However less is more with Moldbug. In fact I I was trying to convince someone of the validity of Moldbug's ideas, I wouldn't refer them to Moldbugs writing, I'd use a video like the Distributist's, which makes them more accessible without dumbing them down.
