The Democrats suddenly remembered there's a down-ticket battle to fight. Hot off their DNC hype train, they're resurrecting The Blue Wave.

I guess they do have at least one competent video production team over at the Democratic Party. Where were they for the last week of misery???

We found the Biden signs.
Turns out Biden supporters are too scared of Trump voters to put up theirs. Also, pigs are flying today and hell has frozen over.

Honestly sad to see how delusional these people are. I highly doubt a trump supporter is gonna come over to take their shitty sign let alone give death threats. If anything these people will just be laughed at for voting for a fossil that already has a fucking foot in his grave.

They can't even use the " Oh we are just donating directly to Biden" excuse. Biden donations are largely behind Trump, and even Hilldawg.

Let's imagine Biden actually does win and then drops out a few months in to give Kamala the Key to the Castle, how would the chances be for Kamala Harris to get reelected in 2024?

If Biden won and transferred it over to Kamala, I would first ask whether the nation would survive before wondering whether she would win in the next election.

Yeah, I imagine tons of people would be really pissed. Not that I think they would be a revolt or anything, but she would face much more public opposition than Obama did, because she wasn't elected POTUS and she's much more disliked by all sides.

Am I out of touch here? Who are these people that donate cash to presidential campaigns? Like I could have seen myself supporting Trump in 2016 because he was funny and was curious to see how far it could go, but nothing more than pocket change. Plenty of careers ask you disclose those contributions and they're filed away somewhere in the HR department. Why bother if you could be held to it later?

I guess the mania around Bernie's 2 runs clouds things a bit. You saw idiots donating THOUSANDS when they were barely paying their rent, but at least you could rationalise it thinking you pay Bernie and he'll eliminate those scary student loans you have hanging over you like a sword of damocles. But to hand lumps of cash over to candidates like Hillary or Biden or a random milquetoast Republican? Its just mind-bending to me.

I never donated to a presidential campaign before last year. I think it was about $200 total. Which is a testament to how much Trump has fired up his base.

I like the guy, I think he's doing a better job than any President in my lifetime and I want to see the evil Democratic Party defeated.

So lie. Seems like a pretty obvious answer to me...

You can look up anyone's campaign contributions if you want to.

Unless she manages to cure AIDS, Cancer, and bring world peace, extremely unlikely. Whatever she does will probably piss people. The public doesn't like the DNC. Their hatred for the party will grow even larger once they're in power, prove why they shouldn't be in power, and never fullfil any of their promises.

Disregarding my last point, I think even if she does a good job she won't be voted back in. People will resent her for not coming into power by normal means. I think the most important point is that the older folks don't want a woman in power. Mostly Greatest Generation folks but probably a lot of boomers too.

Going to push back on the "people don't want a woman President". There have been plenty of women Governors. In fact a quick check of every Female governor from 1980 to now shows an interesting trend. There have been 38 female Governors, and of those 38, 17 have been Republican. Around half. This ratio of about a 50/50 split holds even if you factor for the year 2000 to now. This says to me that voters regardless of being conservative or liberal do not "see" gender so much as ideology and policy. The rate of Liberal to Conservative women given executive power tracks at about the same rate of Democrats to Republicans given executive power.

This says that the issue is not the gender of the females put foreword for the Presidency, its there policy positions.

*edit* and too add, South Dakotas governor is the most likely female governor in the field atm to become the first female President. You can save this post for Prophecy.

I would not consider any such administration to be valid. There's not much I could do about it, mind, but one would hope the GOP would go into full bore fuck them over mode. Would require the GOP have the balls to stand up for something, though.
