If you're a CSA survivor and you're legitimately into DDLG/ABDL, more power to you but you shouldn't forget that still doesn't make those fetishes any less degenerate or creepy. Still, an argument can be made that it's slightly more forgivable if you're a CSA survivor because you can at least say it's a coping mechanism. Those who come from relatively well-adjusted backgrounds that are into this kind of thing, on the other hand? Yall are the first to go in the kink-shaming jihad.
The reason why DDLG, ABDL, and other such fetishes are so stigmatised is that they're specifically predicated on romanticising a fundamental failure of the parent/child relationship. I think it's safe to say that if an actual father and daughter had this type of pseudo-romantic yet extremely sexual dynamic, it would be extremely off-putting to everyone who has to witness that unfold.
Is it really that much of a hot take to assume that we shouldn't romanticise a fundamental failure of the parent/child dynamic? Especially when such failures tend to leave long-lasting mental and emotional scars that can take literal years of psychotherapy to overcome? Whatever happens between two (or more) consenting adults is 100% their own business, but don't expect a fucking hugbox if you want to bring your fetishes into the public eye.
