LeafyIsHere / Calvin Marquez / "Sweapy" (and the Reptilian Army) - From #NoChin with 12 year old kid drama to a weird return, currently sweeping it up for a Mexican White Nationalist. Got dunked by Ethan Ralph.

Its so surreal watching people take the position "if you make fun of stupid people on the internet and get deplatformed its on you, nothing of value was lost. Its totally fine that big tech censors these people and nothing bad will come of it"' while posting on kiwi farms.

You know, the site that actively tries to connect every stupid thing you have ever done on the internet to your real name and get it listed on google so people can laugh at you for it for the rest of your life.

The site that has been deplatformed at one time in some way on almost every level of the internet, to the point where the person running it has to do nearly everything himself and take donations in gift cards and bitcoin.

The site that has been banned by entire countries because it stood up to their attempts to censor relevant news when pretty much everyone caved.

The site that has been or has had users involved in actual lawsuits over what we have said about mentally ill people (granted we won).

The site that has an entire section dedicated to allowing women to shit on fat people for being so fat they will die soon.

How do you spend more than 5 seconds on this site and not know that it is the epitome of hypocrisy to celebrate someone getting deplatformed for being mean?
I mean if I was a tier 3 sub to Poki I'd be pretty pissed too to be fair. Null should have people link their Twitch accounts to their KF accounts so we can see who the paypigs are.

Seems like a weird thing to boast about does it not?
Especially right after leafy gets booted. Almost like he doesn't even care about hiding it anymore and just wants to be smug about it.

The nose has been exposed.

I actually hope he gets on twitch next because of how much it'll piss off the twitch content creators/staff.
Given how the staff bans ItsAGundam randomly, I doubt that Leafy will even get to register an account.

>ProPedo is trying to grandstand over Leafy
Dumb motherfucker narrowly avoided getting his life ruined for solicting nudes from his fans despite being a 30 year old man who should know better.
His stupid ass shouldn't ever try and jump on the cancel bandwagon ever again like he did before with Jontron and Pewdiepie.

It'll take a billion dollar tech company and personal endorsements from big eCelebrities like PewdiePie or Markiplier to launch an actual YouTube competitor, not some shoddy startup like the aforementioned failures. Like, I'm talking something funded by Microsoft or Sony to rival with Google.
Mixer did all of this. Look what happened.

Youtube is such trash now. I can't wait for the day where they are no longer the de facto default video platform.
The sooner YouTube is not the only viable (emphasis on viable) game on town the better.

Can't go crying towards the CEO or mods when people have options.
It will never happen. People have tried to create alternatives to Youtube but the second some alt-right guy uploads a video there's the ADL and the tech press doing hit piece after hit piece and the platform loses its payment processors.
Also Big Tech doesn't want any alternative.

Mixer feels more like it failed due to a mix of poor advertising and an unwillingness to lose much money in the short term.

Look at Fortnite, which was willing to give up being on the apple store just so they could fight the requirement of giving apple a huge chunk of earnings to the apple store to be on iphones. They're willing to lose money in the short term so they can get more publicity and maybe earn more money on their regular PC platform in the long term.

Microsoft seemed to give up pretty quickly and that may have even been in part due to worries about the economy in general due to Corona, which is a fairly unique circumstance.

A new platform would need to similarly get some ecelebs on board, promote itself on other platforms with ads (like on twitter, youtube and so on), be capable of losing some money in the short term, and on top of all that have some mechanisms in place for people to donate to those on the platform.

I'm not surprised they got rid of Leafy's channels, but I wonder if someone like ItsaGundam is next considering many people are already wanting his channel gone as well.

If I were to be completey honest, my money is on Keemstar being next. Keemstar constantly making allegations that Ethan is directly working with Susan looks really bad for their image, plus Keem is giving Leafy a platform to explain to everybody what exactly is going on, which I would imagine YouTube doesn't like (Outside of their vague statements about how "they don't tolerate harassment", they probably want people completely in the dark about what happened).

I suspect that they were probably trying to do that earlier when Ethan tried to cancel him (Make Keemstar the most hated person on the internet, and then get rid of him when everyone wants him gone). The problem is that it failed miserably (In fact, it actually backfired on Ethan quite a bit), so now they have to find some other opportunity to use to get rid of him.
