DSP gets high view numbers when he's playing games where chat can't handhold him and where he's constantly raging, i.e. Crash Racing, Mario Sunshine, DK 64, Resident Evil, etc. or when there's a controversy. As much as Phil would hate to admit it, trolls and detractors make up the majority of his actual viewing audience.

It's true, he is an entertainer for retards, not kids, and the few kids who do watch him is retarded too.

No normal kid would be excited about vest streaks and soap bubbles unless they are actually retarded or 4 years old.

I dont blame content creators for having avenues of people donating any amount they want like superchats,streamlabs or a paypal link,after all if autistic people want to send you hundreds of dollars why not let them? I think Ethan and Hila Klein had a 9 million dollar house yet people still send them money (plus they have sponsors).

Fucking hell. Shaving around that massive mole HAS to be a total pain.

This is the reason his webcam is such a low resolution. He's repulsive.

Quoting to not post again,he is fucking fat,his facial features are so weak and that combined with the fact that he is a fat ass makes his face looks horrible. A professional webcam costs 150 USD and he makes more than that in one stream but he wont buy one since that would mean:
A- Less money for gacha
B- That we would be able to see his pale skin,patchy goatee,boobs and ugly fat face in HD.

Phil got 1000+ viewers consistently when the Twitch ban drama happened, both on Youtube and Twitch. There's no question the detractors are the only thing keeping Phil with a pulse.

Absolutely agree with this. Even DSP's fans have been going to detractor channels/streams because they like the edited content of DSP shenanigans. Even his "die hard" fans like to see him cry, rage, bitch, moan about lag and dropped inputs and the like.

While I'm on the topic, DSP's average viewership has been going down by about ~30 viewers a year.

2020 looks to be an anomaly for a few reasons. 1) increased drama this year with the bankruptcy and DMCA, 2) wuflu keeping people at home watching twitch and 3) maybe the vest as a gimmick actually works for retaining the ♿ audience he already has?
That being said, 2020 still has a few potential spikes in viewership: Halloween, Thanksgiving begging, Christmas shenanigans.

Most streamers see an increase in their viewership the longer they keep grinding at it.
What's even more hilarious is the begging has lead to an increase in income this year, and an increase in his average sub amount, despite his average viewership being low and continues to go down. DSP is just distilling his audience down to the same 50 people who give him money.

We need a pageival if we reach 6000. But what should we do? Buy vests and spam it on page 6000?
