I'm not going to lie, SOMEBODY needs to put these BLM/ANTIFA folk in their place. While the counterprotesters are terminally autistic in their own right, I am fond that they have an enemy to fight of equal standing. It's the Thunderdome IRL.

I've been told the same and when I press and/or show videos, it's always "antifa didn't start that, they're forced to deal with it"
I've given up, people are just picking sides and then training hard for olympic mental gymnastics and that's that.

You don’t. Someone seriously told me that a mass drive by shooting in Minneapolis and the increase in violent crimes and shootings were all caused by police and huwite supremacists. I ended the conversation soon after because there is nothing to say to someone who‘s brain is that broken.

You simply don't argue with these people. Speaking from personal experience, it's far harder to change the mind of a western leftist than it is to change the mind of a radical Islamist. Ignore them, let them burn out and suffer from their delusions. If they don't succeed, they will eventually die from the constant stress/outrage fatigue and if they win, radicals who are willing to fight are the first ones against the wall.

I usually wonder about what's gonna happen after the election, no matter who wins; because what will be left with? This violent bunch of idiots and their corporate power isn't going to just disappear. If Biden wins, will they violently crack down on them all to save face for the Left? Then what?

Everyone's pinning their hopes on the election, but no matter who wins, we're all terribly divided, we're all getting fed propaganda from all sides and there's so many people who will tell you 2+2=5 because saying otherwise is a Q conspiracy theory. Are there enough normal people left to climb out of the hole? I feel like logically there are; but they aren't doing anything, and doing anything at all seems to make everything worse. Sitting in your house getting smashed is just allowing it to happen, and going out to beat the shit out of the rioters feeds the propaganda. It's like the Bezmenov guy said; we're a subverted country.

I think the only way out is a lot of people dying in some awful way and until it happens, it's just gonna keep spiraling.

I think the corporate power might dissipate after the election. All the woke corporations won't suddenly declare that Black Lives don't Matter of course but they'll probably quietly cut off BLM the organization once it's no longer immediately useful as a cudgel against Trump for November. The violent idiots of course, won't go away and a sizable amount of them will probably radicalize further until we get a bunch of Weathermen 2.0 and the American years of lead. Whoever wins the election will decide how quickly it goes since the autistic screeching from the #Resistance will dwarf that of 2016-2017 in a Trump victory and with a Biden victory it'll take a few years of the progressives getting rammed in the ass by the neoliberals while waiting for a reacharound that never comes.

I'm really surprised it hasn't happened yet. Obviously I don't want it to happen either, due to A) killing people is bad generally speaking and B) the optics would be awful and the media would have carte blanche to crucify whoever did it and anyone even remotely/tangentially related.

For all of the leftist posturing that there are terrifying alt-right Brenton Tarrant clones around every corner waiting to yeet minorities and Democrats off of the mortal coil, I sure haven't seen that happening. Could it be that perhaps they're full of shit when they talk about how dangerous, deranged and violent the 'alt-right' is? Most of the guys that actually legitimately hate leftists are sitting around eating Doritos and watching them get their shit kicked in and bitching about society's current state in a Discord server.

All of the actual violence directed at Antifa/BLM was either violence that developed in their own ranks, accidental/negligent discharges, some Ethiopian guy that was driving too fast and that asshole that got popped a few times in NM for beating a man with a skateboard. The media easily could spin some of that shit, and doubtlessly they have tried, but when the video shows a person trying to disengage from the situation and they stop the pursuit with defensive violence, there isn't much meat left on the bones. They'll of course tell you that everything the police do is 'totally legit violence/war crimes' but, really, the cops have shown remarkable restraint. The cops could start beating them with feather pillows and these idiots would still scream "PO-LEESE BRUTALITY!" and rant about the Geneva Convention despite it not remotely applying to this scenario.

That whole 'vicious alt-right boogeyman' narrative is even less credible than it ever was. It's surprising though, you'd figure in the midst of all of this politically charged chaos, there'd be a sperg somewhere donning his black duster and trying to do his best Dylan Klebold impression.
