How will Bob react to seeing the Mario film?

Bob isn't going to like a Batman movie no matter how the trailer looks anyway. He also continues to not be funny. It probably just sucks for him to see a good looking man with hair tbh.
To make all things fair I think this movie is going to not be anywhere close to the good, but Bob is just ass mad because the wrong people are liking it.

TL;DR - Bob is an idiot that things all things have to be the same and apparently can't handle the idea of a variety or spice in his movies.
I could almost appreciate Bob's sentiment that DC is over-reliant on Batman if he wasn't an MCU drone suckling on the mouse's saccharine nectar. Maybe he should pop Black Panther in the DVD Player and watch grown men wrestle in cat pajamas to soothe his wounded sensibilities until Black Widow is ready for him to consoom in theaters.

Funny how he’s never given Captain America: The Winter Soldier any grief for lifting from movies like 3 Days Of The Condor, or the new Star Wars movies for recycling the imagery of previous films in the series. Apparently it doesn’t matter of the characters are constantly cracking jokes at the expense of the film and deliberately undermining the premise with ironic tongue-in-cheek humor.

EDIT: Also, Bob probably has more fat on just his neck than Robert Pattinson has on his entire body.
It really makes me wonder if Dobbo is like Bobo's long lost brother or failed clone. Because these two fat bastards have SUCH a huge hate boner for anything Batman related being dark and serious.

Batman can only be silly because Bob Chipman says so! Like I said before...Blob isn't going to like a Batman movie no matter what. If it had a lighter tone I'm sure he'd accuse it of copying the MCU.

Gotta admit my eyes glaze over at the discussions of comics and comic-based movies.

There was a guy who started clinging to our friend group several years ago who would always turn any conversation to comic book/comic book movie shit. Even after being told point-blank that nobody cares (in our group), he still couldn’t keep a fucking lid on it. We stopped even inviting him to big, non-exclusive get-togethers because he was so annoyingly persistent about it. He’s now 50 years old and none of us have seen him IRL for a couple years, but he will still send emails (copying and pasting the same wall of text to each of us individually) about MCU casting news, his thoughts on how directors should have done things differently, and borderline fanfic about franchise convergence and shit. I repeat: None of us care and have told him so. Bob reminds me of that guy.

No offense to anyone in this thread who is 40+ and spends hours every day sperging about comic-based movies, but it’s really fucking sad.

that trash bag chicken is fucking vile

This is like the third time I've pointed it out, but it bears repeating for the benefit of any newcomers to Cuisine a la Bob (and because I am endlessly horrified by it). That only looks like a red trash bag -- which, I know, appropriate since that's the color for medical waste. But if you look closer, you can clearly make out air bubbles ... indicating it's actually a clear bag that has been completely inundated with hot sauce. Barf.

I just can't get over the amount of hot sauce he's using to create that 6 pH environment to chemically puree the outer layers of that poultry. Even if that's basic bitch Frank's, you're talking $20+.

Only Bob could “double vacuum-seal” something and still be left with visible air bubbles and a pouch-like bag. Also a closer look at his tweet reveals yet another retarded adjective: “fridge-marinating.” I know Bob’s not very bright but even I wouldn’t have assumed he marinates raw poultry on the countertop for five days.

He mentions sriracha was in the mix too. I’ve seen big bottles of that and other hot sauces at dollar stores. But I’m more concerned for the poor whole chicken who died just to end up tasting like shit and turned into the same, evacuated from the bowels of MovieBob. RIP in poop, little fella. You deserved better.

"Vacuum sealed" my ass. He cinched the neck tight, taped up the bag, and hoped for the best. Like I said when this topic was fresh, it's very telling there are no photos or even mention of how it turned out. I wouldn't be surprised if when he opened the bag the stench was so vile even Bob realized it had to go directly into the trash.

My friend, you have more faith in Bob's common sense than I do.

Mega corporations owning everything is actually a good thing because, and I am fucking quoting here, " you might live to see Goku, Sonic and a de-Rowling'd Harry Potter all join the Justice League. This is where we live now."
Real life is just Nintendo Smash Bro. I can never figure out how someone who spends all his waking hours in la-la land can be so angry.

I feel like this fat dude would benefit a lot and change a decent amount of his views on life and politics if he could take a course in logistics and spend more time studying the actual state of human technology and history. Does he really think our current capitalist society can survive in case of a huge black swan event or a global catastrophic event?
The more complex a system is, the more interdependent parts it has, the more fragile it is. But who needs to study complexity when all we need is the blessing of Hillary Rodham, or, equivalently, Captain Marvel?

As for Matt Reeve's Batman, not even his brother agrees with him -- although Chris is retarded in another way:

Bobby on Aquaman, and Banana Wu, of all people, chimes in:

Bobby on the definition of "pretentious":

Movie studios won't let movie critics (read Bobby) watch pre-releases in the comfort of their own basements. What a bunch of gatekeeping jerks!

Absolutely incomprehensible decision by WB; it is not as if critics know how to dup a movie and put it on pirate sites.

Glass or no glass, everyone can see Bobby as an amorphous alien blob that somehow has the ability to string English words together.

Mention of "The Discourse" suggests he is responding to something by Peter Coffin, although I don't know what.

As if the Obamas were known for being athletic.

People are literally mad at trees, and a basketball court.

Bobby hates white trash, but apparently not white "gendertrash":

Bizarre cow crossover with Jake Alley. The thread is, typical of Jake, endless (at least 30 parts), rambling, and barely comprehensible. It seems to be about Trump and "genocidal fascists".

What kind of new TV Bob's mom got that took a whole afternoon to hook up?

I think everyone looks kind of pathetic on the internet. Since I don't talk about the stuff that's 80% of my waking life, people probably think I'm obsessed with the minuta of Star Trek just based on my posts here.

I meant it when I said I was talking about 40+ men who spend “hours every day sperging” about this stuff. Bob tweets about 20 hours a day and much of that shows he is way over-invested comic-based movies. I’m of the mind that if something is harmless and brings you joy, have at it. But if you look at Bob’s tweets, that is not what’s going on. The emotional capital he has expended in his fury and resentment over the Snyder cut alone is astonishing.

"Endless unremitting social humiliations and expulsions - a constant overhanging sense that they're unwanted, unwelcome things in a world with no place for them". Poor Robert. His complete lack of self-awareness has blinded him from the fact that this statement applies to him and has for his situation for the last few years.

last few years? That's been Bob's situation since puberty, at the absolute latest.
