Nobody deserves to fucking drown or possibly be dead bc of this river,” bellowed Linnell Lilliston. Other comments: “Shut this shit down please.” “The lake shouldn’t have the right to be open anymore.” “Shut this place down!!!” “This lake is very dangerous and a threat to people. Not a single death more.” “This place should be drained.” “Use it for drinking water or drain it completely.” “Shut down Lake Piru for good.”
Many of the 4,400 signatories simply chimed in with “justice NOW!” or “where’s the justice?” or “we need justice!”
How one can extract “justice” from a lake is unclear. What is clear is that the notion of yelling at clouds seemed ludicrous until a bunch of low-IQ lunatics began doing it for real.
A step up from demanding justice from a lake is demanding it from a tree. I mean, at least trees are living organisms. Robert Fuller was a crazy-ass black man in Palmdale, Calif. (well, to be fair, all of him was crazy, not just his ass). Beset by mental illness, the poor bastard hanged himself from a tree outside the Palmdale City Hall on June 10. Fuller had a history of auditory hallucinations, institutionalization, psychotic outbursts, and suicide attempts. He used his EBT card to buy the rope he employed in the hanging (from a Dollar Tree, noch). It was an open-and-shut suicide, but in the fantasy world of BLM, it was a “lynching,” and hundreds of angry protesters besieged city hall for days on end, chanting, yelling, and at one point attacking the sheriff’s department, pounding on doors and walls, screaming for “justice.”
Eventually the mob decided that the only way to extract that justice was to kill the tree. Now, the idea of executing a tree for a hate crime might seem funny to you, but it must be remembered that the average tree is the intellectual superior of the average BLM thug. Brian Hashimoto, a far-left local artist and photographer who offers his services pro bono to BLM in order to “amplify melanated voices” (he states that with deadly seriousness on his website), documented the attempted vigilante justice against the genocidal tree (again, speaking without a hint of awareness of how insane the situation was):

But will the fanatics be as easy to control as Yglesias suggests? This mirrors a problem that’s long plagued Arab leaders. Muslim madmen make great shock troops, until they turn on you. After all, fanatics with purity tests and an inability to “agree to disagree” will eventually see even their benefactors as infidels in need of “cleansing.” Recent history is riddled with instances of Muslim suicide bombers killing “allies,” from incidents large-scale (the 2005 Amman bombings) to small (the 2011 killing of Vittorio Arrigoni, a.k.a. “Goombah Amy Biehl”). BLM fanaticism mimics Muslim extremism, especially Palestinian extremism, in several ways, from the belief that no body count is too high in the quest to reclaim what’s been “stolen,” to a willingness to sacrifice their children for the holy war (BLM purposely ignores, and even contributes to, the murder of “their babies” at the hands of other blacks, because opposing such crimes would disrupt their narrative).
But while Democrats think that they can channel the BLM sewage river to their benefit, some Republicans believe the opposite, that the riots will actually help Trump. Laura Ingraham articulated that point of view last week: “The inescapable conclusion from all that has been tolerated in liberal cities these last 10 weeks: If the Democrats win, the looters will know that they have free rein to attack not just every city and town in the country—but the suburbs as well. And that’s exactly what they’ll do.”
That’s a neat little talking point, but I’m not certain it’s effective. Telling voters that “if the Democrats win, the looters will have free rein” is kinda dependent on those voters being too stupid to realize that the looters have free rein right now, under Trump. I mean, what exactly have Trump, Barr, and the Senate Republicans done to stop any of the mayhem? For the GOP strategy of “If we’re out of power, we’ll no longer be able to protect you from the thugs” to work, the GOP needs to actually be protecting us from the thugs. And it isn’t. William Barr is no John Ashcroft (who put political correctness aside to root out potential terrorists after 9/11). Barr’s done precious little to protect us from the black terrorists of BLM or the white terrorists of Antifa. Trump and Barr have given the electorate no reason to say, “Boy, I’m sure glad these guys are in charge, otherwise there’d be nonstop carnage.”
As much as I hate to say it, I think voters might see things Yglesias’ way. Continued BLM/Antifa terror from now till November will help the Democrats. Voters, seeing Trump’s impotence and inaction, will instinctively think, “Maybe the Democrats, being the terrorists’ allies, are the only ones who can rein them in. Maybe if we put them back in charge, they’ll call off their dogs.”
Hell, if BLM’s reign of terror has proved anything, it’s that American whites are all too willing to accede to domestic terrorists’ demands, in the hope that acquiescence can bring peace.
All the left needs to do is continue to turn the screws for the next few months, and all Trump needs to do is respond by ineffectually tweeting “LAW & ORDER!” while doing nothing of actual value, and Biden will win. In that scenario, riot- and race-war-weary white voters will see potential benefit in electing Biden/Harris, and zero potential benefit in retaining Trump.
And then we’d get to the really big question: Can the Dems call off the ghetto dogs and LARPing Jokers?

The riots do not help Biden and they serve as a powerful and active detrimental effect to the Democrats campaign. All the riots that are happening are in blue cities, and since the Democratic-led local governments are not only condoning the riots but are not making any effort to stop the riots or prosecute the people participating in it, the sane people living there are not gonna blame Trump but instead the local government that is straying from their duties.
Also, Biden and Harris haven't said anything about the riots going on and are pretending that its peaceful protests or that the perpetrators of the violence are somehow right-wing white supremacists (no one sane believes this at all. Only a small portion of the partisan insane would believe that line, hook line and sinker).
What the riots do, however, is redpill a lot of the citizenry on the ground into becoming Trump/Republican voters. So, you should not fret about the riots somehow being a positive to Biden/Harris because it is not.
Also, the riots serve as very powerful, convincing material for Republican ads too.

I wouldn't call them the "liberal elite", just the elite. It's just that they've found this particular brand of social justice/intersectionalism/marxism is very effective at controlling opinion. Since religion is falling out of fashion, you can't make an appeal to God and have it affect a wide demographic. However, if you make an appeal to Social Justice and the like, it's as effective on some of the populace as appealing to God during the very height of the satanic panic.
None that I can see. Using the insurrection act would be the wrong idea, perhaps the idea the DNC, media, and alphabet agencies were hoping for. Feds, NG, and possibly Army would come in, start bashing heads and media would collect all the footage from the young marxists running the local papers in Minneapolis, Portland and Seattle, and show how victimized they are. The Democrats would have their perfect ad campaign. It might even turn public opinion enough to get those impeachment papers that currently hang in limbo be passed in a few days.

Biden also criticized what he argued is the “fundamental flaw” of the Trump administration’s response to the coronavirus pandemic, that the nation cannot begin to recover economically until the virus and public health emergency is under control.

“I will be prepared to do whatever it takes to save lives because we cannot get the country moving, until we control the virus,” Biden said. “That is the fundamental flaw of this administration's thinking to begin with. In order to keep the country running and moving and the economy growing, and people employed, you have to fix the virus, you have to deal with the virus.”

As much as I agree with your assessment of the fake news, the problem is that of an uninformed or uncaring electorate. This is why Trump has such a stacked deck against him and the "Fine People" thing is still regurgitated. People typically only read headlines, and when they are made to illicit a negative response, people will just read the source if at all and make their decision on that alone. For every 1 person who researches impartially, 2 won't research impartially, and 10 won't research at all.

The Dems can't bank on an apathetic electorate this time around, a plauge lockdown that's already been extended to four times the length initially 'promised' and mass riots means there is NO apathetic middle-of-the-road voting bloc that will just throw in with whoever ticks the most diversity boxes or looks Presidential, especially when their own businesses have been forcibly shuttered and their own neighborhoods are under siege.
The Dem playbook of relying on their MSM cronies to create a narrative that makes them look good is NOT going to work this time around. This time around, the electorate is mad, and the only people who are listening to the "fine people" crap have hated trump since 2016 and just want to keep those rage-boners nice and stiff, it's not converting someone who wasn't already a radical and definitely not someone who's business that was doing fine under Trump but got wiped off the map by a martinet Mayor or Governor threatening to jail them if they didn't board the place up, and then it got burned down "For justice" by a mob of people who've either never wanted for money or never worked a day in their lives.

The DNC and the MSM are playing telephone with each other, performing for each other, telling whopper lies that only they believe and congratulating each other for "Own1Ng duh 0rAng3mAN!" while the rest of us can SEE what they're doing.... the lies never stop, but people have stopped believing them beyond those who had already declared Trump the Antichrist 3 Novembers back. And they didn't need convincing.
And speaking of riots, that was a trap to try and get Trump to deploy the National Guard at least..... and he didn't take the bait, he deployed Federal agents to protect Federal assets, and told the Mayors "we are ready to deploy troops if you want them, just say when" and they told him "Eat shit you wannabe Hitler" - which has led to the hilarious scenes of Mayor Wheeler pleading with mobs to stop burning his city (but not siccing his cops on them, that'd be against the right to protest) and Mayor Lightfoot using the last dregs of a demoralized police department to spend time protecting HER house from rioters as the North Side burns. THe CPD wanted federal assistance some time ago, and she told them to STFU and guard her lawn gnomes...
Meanwhile in NYC, more people got shot to death yesterday than died of the 'rona, but DeBlasio says the bars and restaurants still alive can't open up, and if they do, he'll have them arrested... by the same police force whose union just endorsed Trump because they're tired of having their budget slashed, being tasked with guarding a BLM shrine, and having Cuomo tell them that they're as much to blame for the murders at the actual murderers because of lack of minority trust....
None of that makes Trump look bad, it's actually waking a lot of people up to the 30 year stagnation and decline of our major cities under Democratic guidance, and in true Streisand Effect, they only popped their masks off in an attempt to own Trump.... he's draining the swamp after all - because the swamp creatures themselves are coming for him and trying to kill him before he can get that digging permit.

Also I feel like that people greatly overestimate how many people read or watch the mainstream media. A large majority of Americans don't put much stock into what the mainstream media says anymore or read it without skepticism. It's HK-47 brought up a good point of how conservative news outlets never face any lay-offs or cuts while the mainstream media does. Also, wasn't it known that CNN and MSNBC pretty much have low ratings and that they only manage to survive due to venues like airports putting CNN on their TV screens?
Also the Democrats for the past four years have been insulting voters, canceling potential voters for having the wrong opinion, and they're losing that "moderate" facade and exposing their true colors as an anti-American political party.
Also, if the mainstream media did hold a lot of influence, then shouldn't a large majority of Americans be against Trump by now? Shouldn't he have an approval rating of 17% instead of an approval rating that was similar to Obama's during his first term? Shouldn't a tremendous blue wave swept the House and Senate instead of the purple vortex that was the 2018 elections (but turned out to be a good thing in hindsight, as it allows the Democrats to show their true colors as they controlled the House).
Disregard all of the polls peddled by the mainstream media. Just look at the enthusiasm for Donald Trump wherever he goes versus the lack of enthusiasm Joe Biden gets. Average Americans want this country to be restored to its former glory, they want a President that is optimistic about the future of this country and never talks down to voters. Actually, now that I think about it, Trump has never talked bad about any potential group of voters.
Trump will win 2020 by a margin you guys would not believe.

In 2016 Trump actually did cause a stronger Republican turnout in New York than Romney did in 2012, though he is a New Yorker himself so there will be some more willing to vote for a guy from their state. Flipping New York red would take an act of God, like 90% of people living in NYC would have to drop dead for it to happen.
In NYC Hillary won almost 80% of the vote, Trump got around 18%. One surprising win for him was Suffolk County which had gone to Obama previously and the last time a Republican won Suffolk County was Dubya's dad in 1992.
