Let's pretend for one moment that he does die before the election, just for the funsies. What happens then? Will the nomination revert to option number 2, aka Bernie Sanders? Or will his running mate automatically replace him just the way Vice-President is supposted to step in after the Big Man in the White House chokes on a piece of matzo? Does he even have a running mate yet?

He's got some level of protection for his decades of writing benign comics highlighting absurd office culture. But he's not immune. Ever since the Floyd protests he's been saying straight facts like how Fentanyl is deadly and that police who deal with poor people and black people will develop prejudices against these groups-- and how nothing BLM does will stop that. Instead of a trigger warning he's been telling listeners for 3 months when brooching a topic-- ''this might be the one that gets me cancelled'' so he's ready for it.

He said he was contacted by MSNBC yesterday but he turned it down... Says he would rather a professional pundit be the proponent of this argument than a guy the media can outmaneuver and label on the chyron ''professional cartoonist''. Remarkably based. Appreciates his role as an amplifier and not necessarily the messenger. Its what all the e-celebs like Sargon miss.

You can also tell from the language and tone of her tweets that she's either a hell of a good actress, or, she's REALLY pissed to find out the lip-service the Dems were giving to all the #this and #that movements was just that, lip service, and they don't believe in what they say....

For reference, Trump only won Indpendents by 5% in 2016.

Only 2% might change, and that's including independents. I don't know how true that is--to my knowledge, there's never been a study of this kind of question and how much it holds up over time in past elections. But it does show that Trump has lost his "try something new" angle from 2016; everything is a known quantity now.

1) This isn't enough options, where's the "because of his policies" option?
2) I do not believe 38% of people actually like Joe Biden.
3) #VoteBlueNoMatterWho is worth 20% of Democratic votes, roughly 10% of all votes.

If you want to calculate how many people are slaves to the party, you have a good estimation now.

This is great. The insane leftists don't actually do this. But they're so unhinged and standoffish that it is believable that they would, such that people won't tell pollsters what they really believe.

I remember a passing comment on Archer about J. Edgar Hoover (along with being a crossdresser) being anti-Catholic. Never did look into it since the comment was during Dreamland and that was based on the 40s.

I recall talking here about having a conversation I had with someone who at once tried to argue that Biden didn't rape Reade, that it doesn't matter because he probably had a "come to Jesus" moment afterwards, it doesn't matter because he still would have raped less people than Trump allegedly did, and it doesn't matter because he didn't rape her and he still has less rape allegations than Trump.

I recently had a conversation with a family member who's a devout Christian, and more diligent than I, where-- in a wide spanning political conversation-- he referred to abortion as merely "party disagreement" and actually equivocated on the topic, using the viability argument (the main flaw being that any child up to a certain age will certainly die without parental assistance because they can't acquire resources by themselves, and medical advancements have greatly pushed back standard minimum viability, meaning that to use this standard is to stand on sinking sand) without confronting the reality that the fetus is human and seemingly implying that helplessness is inversely related to humanity. But no, he thinks this election is special, and an "American issue", and at least Biden won't flout the Constitution (not necessarily at all, but also not like Trump does).

He could have just said that he considered children harmed by liberal abortion policies to be an acceptable sacrifice, or he could have acknowledged that it's his fault that the person's he enthusiastically voting for believes even wanton feticide is a civil right, but I guess he figured it more comfortable to try to see the point of people whose recognition of humanity begins with whether or not they give a damn. And even if you toe the Democrat party line on abortion, my point is that as Christians, this conversation was had.

What I'm trying to say is that you're extremely optimistic. Even if Reade was credible, the scandal would be quickly and furiously buried by Biden voters. They would make every manner of excuse for him. They would defame Reade in every conceivable way. They would even suggest that she enticed him to get ahead in politics, if they had to.

Don't think that anybody's got time for morals this election, and don't take people at face value when they say that they do.
