Victor Mignogna v. Funimation Productions, LLC, et al. (2019) - Vic's lawsuit against Funimation, VAs, and others, for over a million dollars.

I really don't think they're going to settle, any of them. That would be admitting defeat. Corporately, it'd be the right thing to do, but these people have shown themselves to be very unprofessional virtue signallers. If they give up, Twitter'll never let them hear the end of it.

This is assuming Vic's appeal works out in the end, Which I don't think it will. Might just Be me being pessimistic tho.

I disagree with the theory that Marchi is the most likely to settle.

I do too. She's the least likely to be brought back and if she isn't, why would she settle? For what? She'd have a judgment against Vic for Sam Johnson's fees. She isn't exactly behind the 8 ball in that situation.

We all over-estimate Jamie's brain in the settlement scenario, I believe she has the weakest case being mostly a simple link to the other dipshits yet again she has an ego as big as the cuck with quite the narcissistic personality trait wouldn't ever see herself in the wrong or even think of bowing down to someone she deems inferiori to her like Vic, plus she's extremely spiteful for whatever reason so if she was reasonable enough to stab Funi or Moronica in the back she's lose both of their support from whatever fans they've left and if she kept going she'd lose her own support from fans as well for being a mean jealous bitch. Jamie has a lose-lose situation whatever she does, but she's too dumb to realize it and that's why if she gets hooked back, I expect her to continue her stupid childish mean bitch act until the end, as I doubt she has anything worth to offer Vic in a settlement and she's too far gone to back down now like her fat friend Moronica.

I doubt Jaime would settle unless she was offered a really good deal if she gets dragged back in, while Funimation will likely at least consider the possibility of a settlement unless Sabat pulls every string and calls in every favor for them not to. Funimation also has to worry about Sony looking deeper into this should Vic catch a lucky break on the appeals.

Marchi's just lucky that she's the one least likely to be dragged back into this mess if 2020 goes full circle and loops around to a best-case scenario where Vic does get a favorable outcome on the appeals.

Everyone here. Everyone who doesn't hate women was laughing at how his garbage cage was going to be dismissed and y'all just stuck your fingers in your ears and refused to listen.

Except they didn't give the case for why the case would be dismissed. They just said it would be dismissed.

Just like Moronica changed her story everytime it was asked of her, not surprised of how Jamie did the same.
Only difference between them is while Moronica along Ron is more than ready to trash her whole life with this case, Jamie having the same risk of losing all will likely try to save herself at the expense of her "sisterhood with Monica" and I doubt she gives a single fuck about the cuck.

That's the thing that frustrates me about this. They changed their story. In the US Department of Defense, that would be grounds for not taking any disciplinary action against the accused.

But they are the accused and there's going to be no action taken against them so I guess we're all good.

Marchi should be guilty simply for those cottage cheese thighs she got.

EDIT: In all seriousness though, the opinion of her getting off has always been around because 1) no deposition from her because Sam is actually a competent lawyer who knows what the fuck he's doing, and 2) the only damning thing from her is the infamous "balls on a platter tweet", and compared to Ron and Monica's sperging out, is small potatoes in the grand scheme of the defamation. Even on the day of the TCPA ruling (ps holy shit the one year anniversary of the Chupp-out is a few weeks away), I predicted that Marchi would get off, which she was the only defendant that got off on all charges(?) before the final ruling. I still dont understand why people get too optimistic about her.

Funny how Sam, who isn't a "TCPA expert," knew enough to know taking depositions about absolute bullshit isn't TCPA-related and wouldn't be paid by the other side.

The head'n'balls tweet was never considered defamatory. It could show she had malice towards Vic, and thus would have a motive to defame him, but it's not defamatory in and of itself.

Thr defamatory statement is her assertion that Vic jerked her head back and otherwise restrained her in Funimation's lobby. We'll have to see if the panel thinks that is actionable.

One of the charges that Vic has brought is conspiracy. The idea being that something in discovery for Monica and Funi could bring her back in for things she did in concert with the other defendants. She does seem like the type of person who would keep a grudge because you took one of her Oreos.
