Officer-involved shooting under investigation in Kenosha

KENOSHA, Wis. (CBS 58 ) -- An officer-involved shooting investigation is underway in Kenosha on Sunday, Aug. 23.

The shooting happened near 28th Avenue and 40th Street around 5:11 p.m., after officers were called for a "domestic incident."

According to police, officers provided immediate aid to the person. They were transported via Flight for Life to Froedtert in Milwaukee for treatment. The person is in serious condition.

A large crowd gathered near the scene following the shooting.

Kenosha Sheriff’s Department and Wisconsin State Patrol were requested immediately so that the scene could be turned over to an agency other than Kenosha police.

The Wisconsin Department of Justice (DOJ), Division of Criminal Investigation (DCI) will handle the investigation.

You really think niggers would teach their kids how to deal with cops and not get lit up. Fucks sake, I figured out when I was a kid that it was a very bad idea to threaten or refuse to cooperate with men who are legally empowered to fucking shoot me. You'd think with how often they end up getting themselves shot by cops the nogs would teach their kids to keep their hands out of their pockets, keep calm, be cooperative, be polite and respectful, and for fucks sake don't act like a damn nigger.

According to a far-left source (WaPo,) this is the first death at the hands of cops in that city since 2015 (white guy.) So, naturally, we'll get widespread violence and condemnation of a "racist justice system" and stories about how dindus in the area are living in fear 24/7 of klan robe wearing cops gunning them down for sport. Maybe don't reach inside your car when the cops have their guns drawn and are telling you to stop.
Here's an interesting connection though.

The officer believed to be the shooter,Luke Courtier, commented in 2014 that the killing of Dontre Hamilton was a "good shoot" but the officer who killed Dontre was fired for problems of his handling of the incident.

Donetre Hamilton was some homeless skitzo sleeping on a bench. Two offices stopped by, didn't see anything wrong with what he was doing then left. Then another office arrived and killed him. People in the area still remember it so seeing this guys comments probably didn't help matters.

Dude was asking to get shot.

That said, the officers had tazers they should've hit the guy with the second he wasn't cooperating to avoid it escalating this far. And the guy who actually fired the shots seems like an edgelord asshole.

So prepare for more "Peaceful protests"

Tazers don't always connect, and even when they do they sometimes don't have an effect. That can happen for a number of reasons, be it drugs in the system or simple body mass. We only saw the last thirty seconds of what was probably a several dozen minutes long altercation. I'd prefer to wait for the full video from the lapel cams to come out on this one, but right now it's looking justifiable to me.

I know America is the only country in the world with true freedom and we all live in hushed awe and jealousy of the free air they get to breathe, but it's kind of wild that us unfree slaves living in tyrannical first-world police states can actually tell the cops to fuck off and try to walk away without getting pointblank magdumped for it.

Once you decide to go full non-compliance when an officer has a gun pointed at you, don't be surprised when you get ventilated.

However, I too wonder how they just let him casually walk around and enter the vehicle when there were like 3-4 officers in arm's reach of him. It looks like their laziness and lack of control let that situation escalate way past where it should have.

Goodbye Kenosha, it was nice knowing you.

To be fair the officer had his gun out from the start, and if he didn't the three officers cold have easily slammed this guy to the ground on the passenger side before he ever got to the drivers side.

The real take away here is the cops bullshit story isn't going to hold any water because there's an actual video of the shooting.

I'm generally supportive of the police but once again the officers let it get to that point before stopping him.

Personally if I shot the video I'd of let the cops hit the media with their bullshit before dropping the video.
That's kind of a ridiculous take. They were responding to a violent incident and had it in mind they were responding to a violent situation.

So they should tackle and fight someone whenever they respond to a call so they can get hit with an excessive force trial?

Cops will usually give someone a chance to peacefully give themselves up to authority. If the suspect doesn't comply they will have to use increasing levels of force.
