Kim Jong Un reportedly in a coma as his sister Kim Yo Jong takes control - ITT: Kim might be dead, but his sister's kinda cute

North Korean dictator Kim Jong Un has fallen into a coma, a former South Korean official is claiming on the heels of reports that the northern leader has ceded over some of his power to his younger sister.

Chang Song-min, a former aide to late-South Korean president Kim Dae-jung, has alleged that the Hermit Kindom’s honcho has become seriously ill amid speculation about his limited public appearances this year, the Mirror reported.

“I assess him to be in a coma, but his life has not ended,” he told South Korean media.

The former aide added that the leader’s younger sister, Kim Yo Jong, was poised to help lead the country.

“A complete succession structure has not been formed, so Kim Yo-jong is being brought to the fore as the vacuum cannot be maintained for a prolonged period,” he said.

His claims come after South Korean spies revealed that the 33-year-old sibling now serves as his “de facto second-in-command,” though she has not been designated his successor.

In a closed-door meeting with lawmakers, the National Intelligence Service said the power shift partly seeks to “relieve (Kim’s) stress from his reign and avert culpability in the event of policy failure,” the Yonhap News Agency reported.

“Kim Yo Jong, the first vice department director of the Workers’ Party Central Committee, is steering overall state affairs based on the delegation,” the agency reportedly said.

Kim has only been seen in public a handful of times this year after rumors swirled that he was clinging to life in April due to a botched heart operation.

Sounds like bullshit. Doubly so because, as has been pointed out multiple times, their political system explicitly excludes women from being able to have the dear leaders role and position. So either the whole story is bs or something sketchy is going on coup wise

So if she takes over basically she'll start with a massacre of every single person who she thinks is remotely likely to try to depose her or could possibly be a successor.
Pretty much, and expect the cheers for the new Dear Leader to be even prouder and grander than if it was a man in charge.

See, that's what the purges and a pro-forma change in whatever toilet paper they call a constitution are for. A few disappearances, the party congress or whatever the org is agrees that its time for a new female head of state or whatever bullshit, document gets amended, bam.

As to the other bit, because women have no truly legitimate claim to power in these societies, they have to seize it with both hands, and use that power to strangle any opposition in the womb, and its mother too.

Reactions: Flaming Insignias
Isn't north Korea society patriarchal in its structure? I don't think a lot of people will take to kindly with a women in power. Also, what are the chances some general just kills her and take control?

Its not that simple in this case. North korea is a country where literally everybody is indoctrinated from birth into an ideology, in this case one that explicitly forbids her from holding such a position. Its not as simple as tear up the constitution and kill some people. If she thinks it is shes in for a real rude awakening. This is exactly how you get a revolt from the people and a general as the new dear leader until some male distant relative of un's can be 'found' to replace him

They'll do whatever they're told or they'll die.

Surely, she could just spin this as having received a divine message from her grandfather who specifically told her to take charge?

I'm pretty sure as long as it's a member from the Kim family succeeding the populace wouldn't revolt unless another one challenges her to the throne, so-to-speak.

Aside from wanting to bone skeletress, what makes her more evil than her brother?

According to reports, she's done some purging already and is basically a sociopath. No idea if true, and reports of crap from inside North Korea are often total bullshit, so who the fuck knows though.

There's also reports that she's behind some of the recent campaign that changed their propaganda up a bit, so again, who the fuck knows

Seriously? Bitch looks like she kills after mating, and given that she's a big deal in the North Korean Royal Family, odds are she has at least once.
Some people are into that fam

Oh christ, the internet socialists, North Koreaboos, kpop dweebs and internet simps are all gonna become one group now.
I eagerly await Kim Yo Jong's miraculous revival of North Korea's economy with Glorious Korean Peoples' OnlyFans

She's not the kind of person who needs the spotlight anyway. She's the kind of person who'll run things behind the scenes while a fat alcoholic monster gets paraded in front of the cameras.
