I love how so many of these "criticisms" are basically just deflections. "You shouldn't take Kiwi Farms seriously because some members turned out to be murderers, paedophiles, and other such horrible people!" Never mind the fact that we have an entire board dedicated to archiving the embarrassing online histories of mass murderers, how such users who turned out to be literal criminals ended up getting doxed and had their entire internet history forever etched onto their urns, or what have you. No, we're all just degenerates that provide nothing of value whatsoever. THAT'S why we're internet low-lives.
What I find baffling is how Kiwi Farms is evil as fuck, and yet "citizen's justice" on social media like Twitter and Facebook is 100% acceptable. What's even more surprising is that such social media networks are so quick to censor out dissenting opinions as violations of their community guidelines while actively allowing other shit that blatantly violates said guidelines to remain public. Kiwi Farms is a terrible website full of stalkers, and yet we have entire TV networks and "news outlets" extensively documenting the minutiae of celebrity lives and other such public figures. Forgive me if I'm mistaken, but it doesn't seem like there's that much of a difference in what's going on here vs more "acceptable" channels for that kind of thing.
I do have some reservations about the way some people are handled, especially for people who are legitimately mentally ill. Some skitzocows like Terry Davis even had their conditions immensely aggravated by the constant attention that they received. There really is an argument to be made that sometimes, it might be best to let sleeping dogs lie (no matter how exceptional they may be online). However, that argument doesn't apply to the countless people on the internet who think it's their God-given right act like degenerates without resistance. Hell, for almost a year and change, Kiwi Farms was the only place that people could actively discuss Jonathan Yaniv without fear of censorship because Twitter, Facebook, Reddit, et al have kowtowed to the will of trannies for far too long.
At the end of the day, the end-user is responsible for their own internet experience. As nice as internet communities can be, not every place on the internet is gonna be some sterile hugbox where you can openly admit to weird shit and expect to not get judged. If you wouldn't say that you're a diaper faggot IRL, why the fuck would you admit that online and expect people to take you seriously? People seem to forget that not everyone on the internet is obligated to like you, your interests, or think that you're a good person.
