This is like when some of our other cows rant about how much kiwi farms wants them dead. To the contrary, I want all of our cows to live forever. Or at least their words and content. They should thank us for cataloging their lives, we are making them immortal.

There's no damage. Mortal Engines was suppressed because no one was rather impressed by it. That film adaptation, people say, is not a bad adaptation, whereas a TV adaptation is far worse. So, it's going to remain as a once-in-a-lifetime adaptation. Wyvernkeeper has been saying on Reddit, as does Tonino4. Koncorde and JustARandommer may have said the same thing. I have been an advocate for a TV adaptation for Mortal Engines in the far future. I am sure the Red-Brown coalition will try to prevent any future adaptations of Mortal Engines from being made in the future, and Donald Trump, Boris Johnson and Vladimir Putin may weigh in. I've been getting flashbacks from The City of Ember. Both films precede the pandemics.

Why would major world politicians want to stop Mortal Engines from having a TV series? It's just a children's book.

I think Ralgar's a cool dude. Also, I've been ordered by Putin/Trump/Soros to defend Ralgar at all costs. Ralgar's the one who's stopping a Mortal Engines TV adaptation, and for that alone he must be protected and cherished. The way he blew up the Phobos probe was just a bonus.
