Trump Enslavement Syndrome - Orange man good. /r/The_Donald and any public demonstration of rabid pro-Trump enthusiasm in spite of all reason.

I actually do find it darkly amusing that it began as a parody of fascism but has been unironically embraced by many fascists, with gusto.
Ye many take it as "see look facism is important, without it the imperium would fall"

Ignoring fact that really the imperium fell years ago, humanity is locked out of any chances to escape due to being locked into its facist views. Its xenophobia stops it from seeking any allies in tau or eldar (who also have their own issues) in 40k facism took humanity to the point where it is and locks it there. But many view it as a ringing endorsement that facism is the answer to tough situations. They also dont see the irony of portraying trump as a genocidal asshole whose inability to show basic care towards the primarchs lead humanity to its collapse.

But ye in recent years GW has struggled to actually portray that tone of the setting, people want the power fantasy of space marines ignoring that they are emotionally stunted child soldiers serving an empire that doesnt care, only place it sort of still exists is in necromunda as that area of 40k is a more focused take on society.

Nothing says "I love America" more than wearing a flag of a group of states that tried to leave so they could continue to own slaves

To play devil's advocate the confederates thought wrongly that they were the true americans. From their POV they weren't leaving the Union they were abandoning the portions that no longer followed the ideals of the Founding fathers.Just listen to the lyrics of the 'Bonnie Blue flag' in which they talk about how they and the North were brothers as long as their 'rights' were not threatened.True there's nothing in the Constitution even implying abandoning or secession but the federal government in its 'infinite' wisdom had skirted around the issue for decades before the civil war.End result a lot of americans wrongly assumed secession was legal.Although they should have taken a hint when Andrew Jackson slaveowner himself was ready to go to war against South Carolina during the 1830's.If anything the South was really lucky Andrew Jackson or someone similar to him was not in charge during the civil war.Someone like Jackson would have turned the South from Virginia to Texas into a desert only filled with graves.Jackson was a genuine psychopath who loved violence and killing. If he was president the war would have been closer to Rwanda.

The fact that the Confederate states seceded over tariffs has a little merit. The tariffs on cotton. Grown by Negro slaves. Then every Confederate State constitution and secession document says they seceded over slaves. And the vice-president of the Confederacy said slavery was the cornerstone.

To be fair in the middle of the war the average Confederate soldier noticed that as they were the ones fighting and dying while anyone who owned like 20 slaves or something was exempt. (Slaves were expensive to feed and maintain.) The Lost Cause movement plus the fact that all those white men died for virtually nothing made people play up the reputation of the Confederate States in the conquered Southern territories for like 100 years after the war.

And considering Trump has apparently asked to be added, this could be our future!
I prefer this.

Trump definitely is in it for fame or power because POTUS in reality pays like shit. Then I read the rest of the meme and realized someone forgot their meds.

Also, can anyone provide info on the whole "Trump is stopping pedos" thing? Obviously not a bad thing but does he actually have influence over it?

I think it's mostly those QAnon tards making shit up or cherry picking numbers I also like how it started to go up in 2016, when the man they hate was still president.

Republicans are stupidly trying to frame BLM as a negative movement. It's gonna be funny when Ol' Joe wins on November 7th.
