KENOSHA, Wis. (CBS 58 ) -- An officer-involved shooting investigation is underway in Kenosha on Sunday, Aug. 23.

The shooting happened near 28th Avenue and 40th Street around 5:11 p.m., after officers were called for a "domestic incident."

According to police, officers provided immediate aid to the person. They were transported via Flight for Life to Froedtert in Milwaukee for treatment. The person is in serious condition.

A large crowd gathered near the scene following the shooting.

Kenosha Sheriff’s Department and Wisconsin State Patrol were requested immediately so that the scene could be turned over to an agency other than Kenosha police.

The Wisconsin Department of Justice (DOJ), Division of Criminal Investigation (DCI) will handle the investigation.

Democrats flip-flop more than Mitt Romney walking on the beach. They know the majority of the general public distrusts both the Republicans and the police because the left media has constantly told them they can't be trusted and will kill you if you have the wrong skin color. I know we make fun of that here but imagine how it feels to be black person who watches either CNN and MSNBC and is bombarded with the news another black person was killed simply for being black, and they point the fingers at the Republicans.

I hadn't noticed that. Thanks for yet another excuse to drink. Those poor kids. That's harder to swallow then straight Canadian Whisky. A person starts to get tired after awhile. It isn't that you do these things. Its that nothing you do seems to stop them. And nothing is going to make things right for those poor kids.

Almost all of these deaths wouldn't have happened if their own black lives mattered to them. I can't imagine having anyone, cop, boomer, or thug, point a gun at me and not have my first action be compliance. I don't know if it's entitlement, or a product of their thug lifestyle, that they can just blow off someone pointing a gun at them.

I've never had a gun pointed at be in aggression, but I've been around guns enough to know that even your best friend pointing a gun at you that they THINK is unloaded/safe is a frightening prospect. I've seen several misfires or jammed cartridges that could of been believe negligently discharged, to do anything to not have a live gun pointed at me for any reason.

But you have these guys walking around, cursing, firing, trying to take the firearms from these people. It's insanity.

1. Cops were called because of domestic violence.
2.The cops really sucked at restraining this dude.
3. The dude was being non-compliant with guns pointed at him.
4. The dumbass tried to either get in or get something out if his vehicle.
5. Cops perforated him for being an aggressive dumbass.

Play stupid games, win stupid prizes. Plus this douche's record shows he has a history of violence and rape. The cops heading there were probably in the "this fucko is beating the everloving shit out of his significant other again" mindset and went in pissed off.

Pretty much. Ironically now he's considered a saint and anything you say to the contrary will be sacrilegious.

There was a time, not all that long ago, where police putting down a violent sex offender would be hailed as a wonderful thing and the news would be asking "why didn't this happen sooner?".

If convicted, he will face up to 8-1/2 years in prison and/or up to $50,000 in fines.

According to the criminal complaint, Blake and two women were at the Brass Monkey tavern, 1436 Junction Avenue, Saturday when Blake got into an argument with another patron and pulled a black handgun. Blake pointed the gun at the other man, and the magazine fell to the floor. The bartender told Blake to leave, and he did but then pointed the gun through the window at patrons inside the bar before walking south on Junction Avenue.

Police say they encountered a woman walking on Junction who was in the bar with Blake, but she said she didn’t know what happened and that her friends left without her in a silver SUV. A few moments later, officers were advised that a silver SUV was traveling north on Junction with a male subject driving who matched the description of Blake, and they initiated a traffic stop in the 1200 block of Racine Avenue.

Believing the driver was armed, police conducted a high risk traffic stop, the complaint reads, and ordered Blake to put his hands out the window of the vehicle. Instead, Blake exited the SUV and started walking toward officers and ignored commands to get down on the ground. Officers forced Blake to the ground and ordered him to put his hands behind his back. When Blake refused to comply, K9 Dozer was deployed to force the defendant into compliance.

While police were at the hospital with Blake so he could be treated for the wound he obtained from K9 Dozer, officers say he refused to answer questions, but he did submit to a legal blood draw to determine his level of intoxication. At the time he was taken into custody, Blake was searched and police say he had a holster on his hip but no gun. A subsequent search of the SUV turned up a black handgun on the floor behind the drivers seat. A box of ammunition was also found, and two loaded magazines were discovered in Blake’s coat.

The defendant’s blood alcohol level came back at .144, according to the criminal complaint.

Blake remains in the Racine County Jail on a $5,000 cash bond. He will next be in court Oct. 1 for his preliminary hearing.

Big part on why BLM does not recognize violence against actually innocent blacks is that in those cases, they're murdered by their own. It's a sad fact of their community and acknowledging it would be acknowledging that they are not united as one strong community ready to take on the world and that violence is their normal. So, despite how bad a case might be, they'd rather champion a man gunned down by the police within reason over championing an innocent kid cut down in a drive-by. One is fighting "the man" and "the power", the other is snitching on themselves.

This is why the WeLl JuSt MoVe AwAy FrOm CiTiEs!!! meme is so incredibly fucking stupid and anyone who parrots it should be slapped. Laying aside that the idea that people should flee their homes and lives because the government won't deal with the out-of-control joggers is an absolutely outrageous one, the reality is there are almost no towns above 50,000 people that are <10% minority. And even if they are white, white liberals are just as dangerous as their melanited counter parts, as Portland and Seattle well attest to.

I know I keep beating this drum but I keep being right- This is not something anyone can run from. This is not something you can ignore and eventually Daddy Trump or the government or someone will eventually take care of for you. This is not something that's going to fizzle out with time, or after the election, or after the depression hits, or after xyz.
