Unless the Right goes full retard and lets the traditionalists and neocons take over the GOP again, I don't see same-sex marriage being repealed ever. Adoption rights being repealed could be a thing in the more hardcore Bible Belt regions and I have no doubt they'll crack down on the LGBTQ wing of the Activism Industrial Complex.
Keeping same-sex marriage fully legal and not actively repealing things like adoption rights on the federal level is the kind of stuff that can get a lot of the LGB to turn on the TQ and join up with the Right. The L's might take a little longer to switch political sides because radical feminism but the trannies and "queer" punks and hipsters are doing a lot to alienate them like they already alienated the gays and bisexuals.
There's a lot of LGB's who are fed up with the T and the Q for a lot of reasons but they stay silent due to cancel culture. A lot of them still align themselves with the Left even if they're actually just moderate or liberal because there's still that fear of the Religious Right coming back. Mike Pence being selected as VP sort of reinforced that fear despite the fact Trump was openly supportive of the LGBT community decades before it was trendy (since his mentor Roy Cohn was gay)
As the Woke Left continues to get more unhinged and the Religious Right continues to stay dead and recede from memory, I think the LGB's can switch sides and go purple
That's not even getting into the rampant homophobia of the "BIPOC" that the Woke Left idolize so much. Even the most Bible-thumping traditionalist redneck in Appalachia can't hold a candle to a typical jogger or injun when it comes to hating "the queers". Plus, communism doesn't have a good record with the LGBT community either.
