He basacially said that we all fell for obvious outrage marketing and that the movie was clearly about being oversexualised and it being unhealthy for the kids. He didn't show him the trailer, because that's where all the real salacious stuff is that erases any doubt that its just paedo bait.

He's completely ignoring the fact that a successful marketing campaign against loli/pedo shit would also include making a huge number of people aware of movies like 'cuties' and how they are marketed.
All he's realyl doing is saying that he respects people who sexualize children to sell a movie but not people who point out the sexualization of children because they want to stop it...

That's just a courtesy that many people afford to their friends, regardless of their beliefs. I don't give much of a shit about trans rights but an old friend of mine pulled the old gender neutral switcharoo a while back and I usually just throw out the "them" treatment because I have no animosity towards them and have no real reason not to oblige.
I think that's a strange inference to make, though I agree that his argument is fucking stupid. I think he got caught with his pants down defending an indefensible position out of contrarianism, and is now trying to revise history and say "You guys are all retarded and played into their marketing scheme, I knew all along that they were trying to generate outrage" despite playing an active part in generating awareness of the movie himself.
I'll also add that the idea that you should bite your tongue and say nothing when something you find repugnant happens to avoid playing into a nebulous "their" hands is retarded. The fact that these photos were taken in the first place is abhorrent, the fact that they may have been taken specifically to generate this type of reaction is entirely irrelevant, and anyone involved should have their feet held to the coals for it.

Nick Mullen (a real comedian who is actually funny and whilst edgy, isn't blacklisted from anywhere) makes a joke about being a rapper called 'Scientific Method' and being invited to schools to threaten kids with molestation if they don't do their homework.
Notice how he doesn't spend 2 weeks and 2 whole episodes desperately defending pedophiles, and instead tells a joke where the humor is derived from his presentation and exploration of an obviously absurd premise.

On that I think he's probably right. Children, despite being the only class of people that should absolutely 100% be protected no matter what are the least protected in American society.
Random psuedo-philosophical brain jamble:
If you were to posit a dichtonomy between 'Original Sin' and 'Personal Accountability', you find two sides of people who feel very different about children. If you believe in any kind of Original Sin (as a concept) then children are the most guilty because they've yet to redeem themselves. (Solved in catholicism through rite of baptism, very smartly). But if the originl sin is being straight or white . . .
But if you prefer 'Personal Accountability' i.e. rejecting the notion that children are responsible for the sins of their father, then children are the most innocent. Because they truly don't understand most of they're doing anyways and should be given a chance to make their own decisions.

Look like it stop around episode 100 because the person responsible was doing it at mates rates & became fed up with the community. They made this post shortly before stopping posting on reddit.
What makes me a rage this week is soyboys who try to call you out when thousands of people are listening to them, but they can’t quite explain why they’re calling you out.
For you non-Patreonis, I was called out during episode 101 for my transcripts, but the guy requested that his bits were removed from the final edit. Here is a breakdown of some of the arguments and statements:

The only “recent one” that’s bad was episode 98, and that’s because the wrong file was uploaded. I’m not going to throw anyone under the bus for this, but in 98 we changed the workflow for these a bit. If that guy were to have contacted me (via Reddit, in the link I provide in every transcript) or Dick about this, the issue could have been solved in MINUTES, but he decided to wait a week or two to tell anyone.
In a weekly transcript for an almost 3-hour show, you’re bound to have some typos. For reference, episode 96 has 12463 words*. A few minor typos here and there shouldn’t hurt the show’s context, but if he felt like they did, I could have been contacted about this. THAT’S WHY I PROVIDE THE FUCKING LINK!
The only time I add shit he doesn’t say is when I replace laughing with “hehehe.” I have doubts about this harming anyone.
*12463 words, less than 2 mistakes. 0.01% error, weekly, on a 12-18 hour job. These standards are great to strive for, but are unrealistic to achieve, especially when you consider a spelling error to be a huge enough issue to complain about.
Funny that he mentioned that. I volunteered to do these at a flat rate, one that’s lower than the rate others charge to transcribe a single speaker. I enjoy contributing, that’s why I do these for as close to free as you can get. Not only do I do it for less, but you don’t get garbage like Sean talking to himself for 2 hours, something that happened when Dick tried to hire some business to do this.
