So I'm chewing on something here - how well-hidden are the virtual footprints of these various cells? There's definitely UCs tracking around some of the more porous groups, but like. The people organizing logistics and financing have to be pretty tightly concentrated, with your average dipshit rioter/protester serving as more of a distraction and cover for the underground and aboveground arms. But how careful are they being?
I imagine they're smart enough to use mostly burners and word of mouth and avoid any and all internet footprint, but the gubmint's ability to track and find specific people is quite a bit better than it was in the '70s. I wouldn't be surprised if a lot of purchases are being done in cash or prepaid cards. Somewhere down the line there's got to be a loose thread, though. What's the word... deconstructive criticism? That ritual brainwashing thing that Weather and them got up to, where they basically had their cell members break themselves down bit by bit by bit and destroy and criticize absolutely everything in order to further brainwash them to the cult -- that has a bad habit of eventually not working on a weak link.

This isn't new. Back in 2015 they were doing test runs of this in the SF Bay Area, calling it "#BlackBrunch". It must not have passed the test because it got shelved pretty quickly, which is why I'm kind of surprised that they're bringing it back.

Do we know that, or do we infer that? Note, Antifa is the porous group. It's not the hardest thing to get into, and while they are wary about UCs, they don't have to vet as hard as a small, hard cell does. They seem very similar to the SDS (and its child subfactions that split out from its carcass) in that regard - the dumb, obvious brownshirts. Sorry, blackshirts. I don't think they're handling their own finances and logistics for a second outside of token gestures and distractions.
The legal system being compromised I do see as probable enough. Nevertheless, I don't know that they can rely on the feds to be completely captive - much less state governments long-term. The kinds of data that would get sniffed would be unlikely to disappear over time.
