Only reason I think a self-defense claim won't fly is because he was out there in the goatfuck. A prosecutor could argue that he could have avoided this, and that "protecting the neighborhood" could also constitute looking for trouble.

Personally, I absolutely think he was right to go out and protect the community when the cops and NG wouldn't. But the judicial system will still want your ass on a platter, even if you're on the side of the angels.

They can, but I'm not seeing a lot of incentive for them to. They're more-or-less on their side, and have generally been law-abiding thus far in how they conduct themselves. If shit goes full Moghadishu, they're going to run for the hills and start begging the National Guard to just clean house, but as it stands, private citizens are probably doing a better job per-man of keeping the rioters in check than the cops are allowed to, and I think they generally appreciate the help.

Did the twitterists really conflate the shooter with the police?

These people are stupid. Constantly associating the police with shooters is going get them join teams eventually.

These acabs call the police when in trouble due to their horse shit. One day police will answer the call but it wont be about helping them. It will be a call where the responder going file a missing persons report who happens to be the revoltist who dialed 911.

These people are incapable of understanding cause and effect. What gives?

Wisconsin doesn't seem to have duty to retreat, so the fact that he tried to do so will probably play favorably.

I'm a little more clued in on skateboard chud and the guy who's going to have a rough time cooming for the foreseeable future, where I think he's got a defense case made up for him pretty alright.

What was the first guy's situation like? I'm not even familiar with how the first one got shot, and whether he was posing a threat.

Even in a duty to retreat state, he'd have a good case. There's video showing him retreating and only firing after he was on the ground, couldn't retreat and was being attacked.

It's been their go-to all this time. They blame most of the destruction as undercover cops trying to instigate the riots. Lefty twitter is filled with /pol/ tier conspiracies about cops.

The other shooter(idk if it was first or second) was being followed and chased and people threw shit at him(possibly a molotov cocktail. Yay Russians!) According to twitter. Whether that is accurate or not idk.

Right, but in a dtr state, he was doing the legal minimum. Here, you can argue he was going above and beyond and clearly did not want to open fire.

Firebomb was thrown at Kenosha Kyle before he shot the guy in the face. This is the best video I can find of the first shooting. They throw a firebomb at him and chase him behind a truck, and 3 shots ring out. Sheboon starts acting shocked that he has a gun.
