Pretty much from my understanding of Self Defence. Use it as a defence after they charge you, it's not a "it was self defence," "oh ok, have a nice day". I hope the guy doesn't do time. We have seen enough videos of people in these riots ganging up and wailing on people, knocking them out, putting them in the ICU etc - right to fear for his life imo.

Holy shit, that's something. Now I'm guessing that he hopes it goes out of control and the NG goes live so they can blame it on the orange man. TBH, now that they are there I don't see people fucking around as badly, unless they have been given strict orders not to act.
It can be tho, look at Alex Cox. Said it was self-defence, no charges considered, despite all evidence to the contrary.

> Tries to turn himself in
> They say no and push past him
> He's now left alone in the middle of the street with very angry Antifa goons all around him

What do? I'd find my car and drive back home, myself.

It's a reasonable scenario. But considering he was jogging towards the cops, presumably to turn himself in, when the mob attacked him... I'd be surprised if the guy who shot 3 people while trying to give himself up just quit and went home.

They can easily find 12 people in Kenosha to sit on that jury and let this dude walk, especially since the rioters who got shot were the sole reason why the town is all fucked up right now. Of the 8 judges in the county, 7 of them have white-sounding names, so we might avoid some "restorative justice" shit from an activist judge.

juries dont get invited to fancy cocktail parties, judges do. wont know if the judge will make an example out of kyle for self defense until it goes to court.

Speaking of shooting rioters who was the skater who got shot in new Mexico? What he been up to?
I don't know about his health, but he's trying to say that Baca already had his gun out, and he was just trying to knock it out of his hands with the skateboard. I don't think that's going to hold up.

Another tidbit on the case.

Man accused of intimidating witness in protest shooting case to stay behind bars

ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. (KRQE) – The state wants to keep the man accused of intimidating a witness in a high-profile case behind bars for now. The district attorney’s office filed a motion for preventative detention for Daniel Carr.
He’s accused of intimidating a witness a day after that witness testified in the case of Steven Baca. Baca opened fire at the protest over the Juan de Oñate statue back in June. On Saturday, the state claimed Carr was a threat to the community and moved to keep him locked up until his next court appearance.

I can't find the older, more descriptive articles, but basically some meathead showed up at the home of one of the witnesses and said their bullshit wasn't appreciated.

This kid does a GoFundMe, and he's looking at a Nick Sandmannesque payday.
Gofundme will pull it in a second. They only support shitheads in these situations.

If they want to throw him away they'll find some random meme on his phone alluding to shooting someone. They did the same thing to James Fields.

He crossed state lines with a firearm and committed a crime*. This could turn into a federal case quickly.

*killing someone is still a crime, regardless of justification and result.
He is charged in state, not federally, Trump can't do shit, you can be charged for murder state and federally for the same offense as well due to separate sovereigns.

If this is legitimate, why would some 17 year old punk from Antioch Illinois go all the way to another STATE to get involved in these riots?

My sympathy for Rifle Boy is gone. He was clearly also an outsider looking for trouble, not a citizen protecting his neighborhood/property or protesting against injustice or whatever. Stay the fuck home where you belong.
Look at a map. See where Kenosha is relative to Antioch. Realize why I rated you dumb.

I live near a border like that. I go to the other state to buy groceries. You don't even notice it most of the time. It's all the same community.
Him and other were called people to protect "protesters" from being harassed. The shooter supports (supported i hope) BLM and the movement as evident by other video interviews. He supported peaceful protests and did not want property and what not burned down to the ground. He was seen in other videos wandering around property keeping the looters/rioters away.

The path to hell is paved with good intentions. In this case the road to "Pound me in the Ass Prison" is paved with dead antifa bodies.
That was the gas station libertarians who were doing the BLM chanting stuff. Kyle was with another group down the block at the car dealership.

Best guess is the red shirt manlet, after being rebuffed at the gas station, took his beef around back and started shit with this kid. Who then beat feet out of there when things got out of control.

Congrats Boy's we did it : IT'S CRIMINAL TO PROTECT YOUR PROPERTY & BUISNESS FROM LOOTER & PROTESTERS OF ANY KIND.
Well that didn't take long :story: :story: If your the right Agenda guess noose ready for him to be sent back charged:optimistic:*sigh*

KENOSHA, Wis. (AP) — Illinois police arrested a juvenile Wednesday after two people were shot to death during another night of Black Lives Matter protests in Kenosha, Wisconsin.

Commander Norman Johnson of the Antioch Police Department said the suspect — a young man whose name was not released because he is under 18 — was arrested on suspicion of first-degree intentional homicide.

Antioch is about 15 miles from Kenosha, which has seen three straight nights of unrest since the police shooting of a Black man, Jacob Blake.

Two people were killed Tuesday night in a possible vigilante attack carried out by a young white man who was caught on cellphone video opening fire in the middle of the street with a semi-automatic rifle.

THIS IS A BREAKING NEWS UPDATE. AP’s earlier story follows below.

KENOSHA, Wis. (AP) — Two people were shot to death during another night of Black Lives Matter protests in Kenosha in a possible vigilante attack carried out by a young white man who was caught on cellphone video opening fire in the middle of the street with a semi-automatic rifle.

“I just killed somebody,” he could be heard saying at one point Tuesday night.

Sheriff David Beth said that investigators had reviewed footage and that he was confident a suspect would be arrested soon.

The gunfire erupted just before midnight, during the third straight night of unrest in Kenosha over the police shooting of a Black man, Jacob Blake.

“We were all chanting ‘Black lives matter’ at the gas station and then we heard, boom, boom, and I told my friend, `‘That’s not fireworks,’” 19-year-old protester Devin Scott told the Chicago Tribune. “And then this guy with this huge gun runs by us in the middle of the street and people are yelling, ‘He shot someone! He shot someone!’ And everyone is trying to fight the guy, chasing him and then he started shooting again.”

Scott said he cradled a lifeless victim in his arms, and a woman started performing CPR, but “I don’t think he made it.”

One victim was shot in the head and the other in the chest, the sheriff told the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel. A third person suffered gunshot wounds not believed to be life-threatening.

According to witness accounts and video footage, police apparently let the young man responsible for the shootings walk past them with a rifle over his shoulder as members of the crowd were yelling for him to be arrested because he had shot people.

The sheriff told the Journal Sentinel that armed people had been patrolling the city’s streets in recent nights, but he did not know if the gunman was among them.

“They’re a militia,” Beth said. “They’re like a vigilante group.”

The FBI said it is assisting in the case.

Wisconsin Lt. Gov. Mandela Barnes, who is Black, said in an interview with the news program “Democracy Now!” that the shootings were not surprising and that white militias have been ignored for too long.

“How many times across this country do you see armed gunmen, protesting, walking into state Capitols, and everybody just thinks it’s OK?” Barnes said. “People treat that like it’s some kind of normal activity that people are walking around with assault rifles.”

Witness accounts and video show that the shootings took place in two stages: The gunman first shot someone at a car lot, then jogged away, stumbled and fell in the street, and opened fire again as members of the crowd closed in him.

A witness, Julio Rosas, 24, said that when the gunman stumbled, “two people jumped onto him and there was a struggle for control of his rifle. At that point during the struggle, he just began to fire multiple rounds and that dispersed people near him.”

“The rifle was being jerked around in all directions while it was being fired,” Rosas said.

Sam Dirks, 22, from Milwaukee, said he saw the suspected gunman earlier in the evening, and he was yelling at some of the protesters.

“He was definitely very agitated. He was pacing around, just pointing his gun in general. Not necessarily at anyone specifically,” Dirks said.

In other widely circulating video, police can be seen tossing bottled water from an armored vehicle to what appear to be armed civilians walking the streets. One of the civilians appears to be the gunman who later shot protesters.

“We appreciate you being here,” an officer is heard saying to the group over a loudspeaker.

In Wisconsin, it is legal for people 18 and over to openly carry a gun, with no license required.

At a news conference earlier Tuesday, Ben Crump, the lawyer for Blake’s family, said it would “take a miracle” for the 29-year-old Blake to walk again. He called for the officer who opened fire to be arrested and for the others involved to lose their jobs.

Blake was shot, apparently in the back, on Sunday as he leaned into his SUV, three of his children seated inside.

Kenosha police have said little about what happened other than that they were responding to a domestic dispute. They have not said why the officers opened fire or whether Blake was armed, and they have not disclosed the race of three officers on the scene.

The shooting was captured on cellphone video and ignited new protests in the U.S. three months after the death of George Floyd under the knee of a Minneapolis police officer touched off a nationwide reckoning over racial injustice.

Blake’s father, also named Jacob Blake, said police shot his son “seven times, seven times, like he didn’t matter.”

“But my son matters. He’s a human being and he matters,” he said.

During the latest round of unrest on Tuesday, police fired tear gas for the third straight night to disperse protesters outside Kenosha’s courthouse, where some shook a protective fence and threw water bottles and fireworks at officers. On Monday night, crowds destroyed dozens of buildings and set more than 30 fires downtown.

Before the two deadly shootings, the Kenosha County Board sent a letter Tuesday to Democratic Gov. Tony Evers requesting that at least 2,000 more National Guard troops be sent. Evers initially dispatched 150 troops on Monday and increased that to 250 on Tuesday. On Wednesday, the board sent a new request, for 1,500.

“Our county is under attack. Our businesses are under attack. Our homes are under attack. Our local law enforcement agencies need additional support to help bring civility back to our community,” board leaders wrote.

Evers did not immediately respond to a request for comment Wednesday.

Told you guys Kenosha Kyle would have the book thrown at him. No one wants to admit it but the riots are essentially state sanctioned. Anyone who hurts a rioter self defense or not will be in prison forever.
They can try, but Wisconsin is -not- the place to do it. Solidly red legislature and judiciary. Only the executive branch is blue.

Both cities on on the border, it's probably 10 min separating the two.

It's pretty much the same as what happened in the Weimar Republic. The government was pretty much outright backing Communist militias while suppressing anyone who resisted.

It actually doesn't matter if you're in another state 'looking for trouble' if people start attacking you and you defend yourself.

Nah I said that he'll absolutely be eating charges from the start, there's no way a guy who blatted commies in these riots wasn't going to eat shit form the DA while pantifa can pillage their way across the countryside

The system is broken man, they throw you to the wolves and if you fight back the cops suddenly appear to put you in jail for it.

You can google where they are on a map relative to one another. It isn't very hard. That's maybe a 20 or 30 minute drive, tops. It ain't uncommon to know people and businesses in smaller towns like that. You can also look up their populations pretty easily.

Rural / small-town america isn't the same as urban america.
Can confirm, I live in a border town and have a buddy with a shop just over state lines. I’d be there to help protect him and his family if shit went down there. Also 20-30 minute drive ain’t shit, I drive further than that to work on the daily.

Trump is sending troops to WI.

And, as per the other threads, since I caught this one within a minute or so, take a look at the massive amount of Bots that constantly spam Trump's tweets with shit in order to create the impression that he's lacking support. These are all within SECONDS of Trump's tweet, and have absolutely nothing to do with what Trump posted. Every single one of his tweets is like this.

If you want Trump to win, this has been the best night in recent memory to deliver the case. And its on the night of the RNC, where Trump has a way to reach people nationwide.
