She should enjoy the time with her niece/nephew while they are still little. In a few years, they are going to be mortified to be seen with Auntie in public. Or have their photo splashed on social media with her in a #fatkini. It's going to hurt when they get to the age that they will be embarrassed by her size. Assuming she lives that long, of course.

When she said “I hope I can grow old with them” I felt a twinge of sadness for her, because I actually believe she does want that.
She’s clearly not having kids of her own (even getting pregnant would be an extra-long shot, let alone carrying a child to term and then keeping it alive at her and Julissa’s weight? No way).
So it would seem the cool aunt role is one she’d transition to smoothly -before she ballooned into her current form. Now she’s a deathfat-weight woman nearing the end of her thirties, unable to walk through the airport without a wheelchair, afraid to schedule doctor visits unless she’s assured they won’t offend her delicate emotions, and continuing to shovel in the food whilst the scale zooms upward - but, Fat Acceptance, ya know?
She wants to grow old alongside them, but it’s assuredly most likely that they’ll be burying her long before her time. That’s the fucking tragedy, not the lack of size 34 and up capris.
