That wouldn't make much sense, he walked straight to the police with his hands up at the end of the ground shooting video. News reports do often claim that "police are looking for the suspect" and then it turns out they were in custody for ages.

The video doesn't actually show him getting into the cop car, they could have just told him to keep going, not knowing that he'd just shot some people.

One thing I just noticed. When someone screams for a medic, they're immediately surrounded with guys with cameras and phones. I appreciate the dedication to covering this, but if I was the guy who'd just been shot, I wouldn't want the "medics" blocked by a bunch of people chasing retweets.

The first guy was shot in the process of causing thousands of dollars in property damage, the second guy was shot while trying to beat someone to death, and the third guy was shot trying pull a pistol. It's going to be fascinating to see how the spin this. It's taking them awhile, but they will settle on something. Kinda hard to memory hole an incident like this.

Is that really a molotow cocktail? It's hard to tell. But it does seem like the guy was acting in self defense - at least he wasn't acting with malicious intent, he checked up on the guy he shot and got on the phone after all.

His sentencing depends on the judge and the political climate, though. But we've seen similar cases and I think they often ended with it being cleared as self-defense.

Also I feel a lot less bad for Dr. Gunslinger, knowing he feigned surrender before trying to shoot a guy... it really depends, if that greenshirted guy was a shithead who attacked someone for no good reason, putting a cap in his noggin under any circumstances is justified, but it seems that he got attacked, defended himself and then they tried to kill him, so yeah... I would like to know the story before the Masked Avenger and Commando Greenshirt ran to that parking lot, that might clear up what was going on.

Looking at it again, it doesn't seem like the burning object has much weight to it, as it falls far short of the running shooter. I think what redshirt's trying to do is Splash the liquid and the burning Wick over the shooter, setting him alight. But instead he misses and the wick sets off a small flare and dies.

In a way its symbolic of Redshirt's entire life. He tries to set a great fire that will destroy the establishment, but instead he falls flat and dies in a pathetic attempt at glory.

It's a reasonable scenario. But considering he was jogging towards the cops, presumably to turn himself in, when the mob attacked him... I'd be surprised if the guy who shot 3 people while trying to give himself up just quit and went home.

If I'd just shot three people and was 17 years old, the first thing I'd want would be to be home with my family if I were him.
