U.S. Riots of May 2020 over George Floyd and others - ITT: a bunch of faggots butthurt about worthless internet stickers

I wish my circle was more like this. I've been arguing all morning that this has the potential to be self-defense, and that's made me Hitler. No, they all firmly believe this white supremacist came in and gunned down a bunch of innocent people, unprovoked. He was never attacked at all, no one was armed. It is all gun culture's fault.

Well that's why I said it was like fence sitters, moderates.

If someone is left leaning their side can't ever be wrong because they're the "good guys (tm)" and they won't listen to anything that might make them doubt that

Given his age, that's probably unlikely, unfortunately.

It will be interesting to see how it plays out. I gather that Fox and other neocon media are giving this guy somewhat neutral reporting, which makes sense as he's a libertarian BLM supporter. Will that be enough to ensure that he can raise money through services like Gofundme so that he at least has his attorney on his side in an unfair trial? Maybe, maybe not.

It's probably unlikely that he has it, but depending on how well-off his parents are, they might have an insurance policy.

If Tucker gives him positive coverage and shows what actually happened, he's probably got a lot better odds. If the Kiwis have archived everything, chances are other autists have too and have sent the videos to Tucker Carlson given his recent string of covering the ugly facts and video evidence of Antifa and BLM that the MSM tries to memory hole.

Rittenhouse is a Palestinian name? I didn't realize.

Is your name Rittenhouse?

I wasn't referring to Kenosha Kyle, I was referring to you and your blackpill doomer ramblings and general /pol/ bullshit. Kyle Rittenhouse may be a "founding stock American" but you are certainly not.

no nba.PNG

In response to the shooting, the Basketball Americans have decided to stay home and count the money they earn from their shoe endorsements instead of doing whatever the fuck it is they were going to do.

cause he's a retard, plain and simple

there's info on him at previous riots, too. apparently him and his brand of "boog bois" show up at these event in the name of anti govt. libertarianism, they try to rile up the other rioters to go hard after govt. property instead of private property because government bad.

He should not talk to the police at all because his motivation in crossing state lines is what will determine whether it was illegal to travel with a weapon to get there under 18 U.S.C. § 231(a)(2) or other relevant federal criminal statutes.

First degree murder is absolute lunacy. He was clearly trying to escape already and the rioters attacked him and were trying to murder him.

Sweet summer child. I think I started reading this thread back when it was only on page 500-something.

Granted, I tend to check on this thread once a day and I still feel that way too.

Post #181 on page 10 here. *sigh*

I was wondering about that one since that would be absofuckinglutely unconstitutional, but at this point, I'm not putting anything past this government.

I'd actually fight that one since there might be a legal loophole. Wisconsin does accept Illinois FOID cards. Maybe they have a stipulation which rejects it for persons under the age of 18, but I haven't found it yet.

FOID is Illinois‘ permit to purchase, which is different than the CCL/CCW. Wisconsin gives reciprocity for Illinois CCL permits, which he would not be allowed to have until turning 21.

That kid shows if anything gun control laws need to be loosened.
Gun control needs to be tightened if badasses like him can be walking around carrying a rifle because it hurts my self-esteem. I would've missed every one of those shots and died to a brutal and continuous head-stomping.

No court in a country like China, maybe. But in a country like America, it could go either way.

In China, he wouldn't even get a fair trial and would just be summarily executed as a "counter-revolutionary"

Why the fuck do you idolize China so much? Is your autistic self-hatred of Americans so bad that you'll simp for one of the most evil regimes currently in existence.

Even with a duty to retreat the kid still clears the hurdle because he is very clearly trying to get away from the situation. Kid just needs to shut up, and call Saul. Him being 17 can help as the police cannot interview him without his parents. Let's hope mommy and daddy are smart and give him the same advice rather then tell the kid "too just tell the truth to the police".

This.

Kyle Rittenhouse has a lot more elements in his favor than James Fields did, so it will be trickier for any activist judge to railroad him. As long as he lawyers up (and given his political stances, I think his parents will encourage that) and submits the hard evidence in court, he'll beat the rap for everything except maybe the open carry statutes.

This is just one shooting for now. Worst case scenario is if the kid gets crucified anyway in spite of all this, it could lead to the Bleeding Kansas sequel but I don't think it will be Fort Sumter Part II

I'll second what @ConfederateIrishman said. This probably isn't the event that will kick off the IRL boogaloo but it will be the thing that moves the clock a lot closer to midnight.

The Kenosha County DA is a 'gun crimes' faggot, but this is not a case any DA would want to take to a jury. Fuck all of the 'underage, over state lines with a gun' administrative bullshit. The core issue for a jury of 12 would be, 'would a reasonable person, under the circumstances Kenosha Kyle found himself in, at that moment in time, have done what he did?'

Framed for the jury to put them in the middle of the situation: You are attempting to flee from an angry faceless mob. You fall to the ground. The mob converges on you. Do you count on the mob to let you get back to your feet and continue to flee? Or do you pull the trigger? Someone tries to kick you in the head. Do you count on the mob to stop at one kick? Or do you pull the trigger? While still on the ground, someone hits you from behind with a five-pound board. Do you trust in the mob to stop at one strike? Or do you pull the trigger? One of the mob reaches behind his back and you catch a glimpse of a black, metallic object in his hand. You have maybe two seconds, at night, surrounded by a mob that has already tried to cause you serious bodily harm, to identify what that object is and make a decision. Do you wait? Or do you pull the trigger?

The mob did not allow him to peaceably retreat from a confrontation. By their own actions, they forced a choice on Kenosha Kyle: trust his life to a mob that had already demonstrated a taste for destruction and a disregard for the lives and safety of others, or repel the mob with the most useful means he had on hand.

Maybe the start of Bleeding Kansas ,there was some buildup before the first one.
I guess the distinction vs that era is that there were groups on both sides initiating violence against the other, supported by different groups of elites. Rittenhouse isn't a 'border ruffian' who rode out to attack someone on the opposite side in the Kansas territory.

He's more like Heyward Shepherd- just a guy who thought it was a free country.
