I think his understanding of evolution might be seriously flawed. Vaush points out how weather doesn't get inside your head, since you have a skull. That's one of his arguments for why brain structure likely wouldn't diverge in distinct environments. At first I thought maybe it's a joke, but he seems to be serious.

Earlier in this thread talking about his first outing regarding genetics I pointed out he is completely fucking clueless regarding this. I thought he had learned some, as his conversation with JFG showed he had watched the Alt Hypes ripping of him. However, I am actually shocked, like actually aghast at how fucking retarded Vaush is on this subject. I know, I know, he doesn't read - but you learn this shit in SCHOOL.
So first, the idea that hair, skin, nose structure etc are based on single genes is fucking insane. Just off the bat - have you seen how many different variations of skin tone there are? How many nose shapes there are? No, these are certainly not monogenic. We can tell because varying levels of admixture show varying phenotypes that we can identify. You can tell someone who is half black and half white, from someone who is half black and half Asian for example.
Two, the idea that the brain is "insulated from the elements". It's not. The body has to regulate the temperature of the brain for one thing. Homeostasis is a thing.
Lastly, his point about polygenic things being harder to change because you have to effect more genes... The environment doesn't effect your genes Vaush, it selects for them. They change via mutation - there is also sharing of genetics via sex. So even if it is polygenic, that doesn't make a beneficial trait any more or less likely to be selected for. In fact, arguably since there are more genes effecting the trait then a mutation or a new selection of genes would be more likely than with a monogenic effect.
This is basic evolutionary theory, and he fails constantly with his complete lack of understanding - he lacks this because he's too lazy to read and too stupid to engage with the subject matter. He's a retard. As if people are arguing varying weather effects touching the brain are the reason for the evolution of intelligence - JFC.
Finally, why this makes no sense: human intelligence evolved. It did, otherwise all species would be equally intelligent. That means there are genes out there that effect intelligence. So what Vaush thinks is that its more likely is that there is an equal spread amongst all population groups of the genes that effect intelligence, than there being different frequencies in those genes - like there is for every other trait. He's arguing something so infinitesimally unlikely that it would be an actual miracle for it to happen. He's a dummy.
The brain is insulated! Your body isn't! Even though your intelligence effects how your body interacts with your environment and therefore your likelihood to pass on your genes... But yeah your brains insulated from being directly touched by the outside world so selection pressures don't exist. Plus you'd need to have a selection pressure on each Gene.
Honestly, I can't get over how dumb this is. He says before it you'd get "kicked out of class" for using different strands of evidence from different studies to support an argument. Which is apparently where Sean Last and Alt Hype are going wrong. Yet he never ever actually addresses what they say directly. What a pseud!
