Moldbug has always been far more useful for his observations than solutions. He even acknowledges this by refering to his world view as "formalism" meaning he's more concerned with how things actually are, rather than how things should be. Many of Moldbug's ideas aren't particularly original either, he "borrowed" the concept of the redpill from the matrix, the cathedral is really just a refined and improved version of Marxist cultural hegemony, and the patchwork is not unique to him at all. Even still, I do find him to be a useful voice in understanding many aspects of politics today.

I think his understanding of evolution might be seriously flawed. Vaush points out how weather doesn't get inside your head, since you have a skull. That's one of his arguments for why brain structure likely wouldn't diverge in distinct environments. At first I thought maybe it's a joke, but he seems to be serious.

This goes back to me saying that college grads now get anti-knowledge, or reverse-knowledge and get out dumber and more misinformed than they went going in. His biological knowledge in particular is so goddamn poor that he should really avoid any debate which has something about biology in it because he gets embarrassed every time he does one. Vaush doesn't know even the basics of what the fuck he's talking about and he uses "phenotype" and "phenotypical" like it's some catch-all term which means whatever he wants it to mean at that given moment. I've seen some image macro which has his face posted on it along with some screed that I don't 100% remember but it basically boils down to your usual there's hundreds of studies which say what I say, it's literally Settled Science(tm) and at the end it says that no differences below the skin are genetic, rather all of them are phenotypical and the ones that aren't phenotypical are environmental. Genotype is part of the phenotype, along with environment, so what he probably wanted to say is that all of it is environmental.
But hold on, if phenotype is a genotype expressed in a certain environment, and there's nothing genetic in the differences, it's all "phenotypical" and the rest is environmental, where he clearly indicates that environment is something outside of phenotype and not a part of the phenotype, what the hell is the third mystery ingredient of phenotype?
When I first saw it I first thought someone was just taking the piss at his expense and made the quote up entirely and posted it on imageboards to make him seem dumber than he is, but at this point I think it's 100% legit.

Jacob Blake had a pretty serious record. A sexual assaulter, misdemeanor criminal trespass, and a damn absuer. I should feel bad for a jogger because..? Dude walked to his van without giving two shits about what the cops were saying. I'd love to have the FULL body cam footage. People really need to stop losing their shit off of some random cellphone video.

If you just think as to why so many cops were there in the first place, pretty fucking sure it was because some serious shit was about to go down. The cops got a call about a domestic dispute but ofcourse Vaush won't fucking bring that up. People are getting tired of the George Floyd riots but hey here's something else to get outraged at!

These people are willfully ignorant about human evolution because the truth contravenes their ideology.
People whose prehistoric ancestors lived in Europe, Eurasia and parts of the middle east had to develop and use significantly different group hunting behaviours/storage tech etc. for thousands of years to deal with either very long or permanent winters and the challenges of surviving in tundra/wild coniferous forests etc. Sub-Saharan Africa still had year round growing temperatures for fruits etc and game could be found year round not just for short migratory periods. Hunting/gathering/storage behaviours significantly impact the way humans evolve(including their brains), social behaviour(which affects brain evolution) etc.
A significant proportion of Australian Aborigines for example have vision which far exceeds the average non-Australian aboriginal person.
