Dana Outlaw graduated from the University of Missouri-Columbia in 1999 with degrees in sociology and political science. Upon graduating from the University of Missouri-Kansas City School of Law in 2003, Dana immediately started her firm with an emphasis on
family law. In addition to practicing law, Dana is an adjunct professor at the University of Missouri-Kansas City School of Law.
Dana Outlaw is a mediator and mediates cases involving child custody, property division, spousal maintenance and child support. She has served as a Special Master and conducted hearings on maintenance and child support. She is frequently appointed to represent children as their Guardian ad Litem in cases involving child abuse and neglect. She is the former contract attorney for Hope House, Inc., a domestic violence shelter, where she represented victims of domestic violence in orders of protection, divorce, child custody and child support matters. She is an experienced appellate attorney and has argued cases in front of the Missouri Court of Appeals Western District.
