Officer-involved shooting under investigation in Kenosha

KENOSHA, Wis. (CBS 58 ) -- An officer-involved shooting investigation is underway in Kenosha on Sunday, Aug. 23.

The shooting happened near 28th Avenue and 40th Street around 5:11 p.m., after officers were called for a "domestic incident."

According to police, officers provided immediate aid to the person. They were transported via Flight for Life to Froedtert in Milwaukee for treatment. The person is in serious condition.

A large crowd gathered near the scene following the shooting.

Kenosha Sheriff’s Department and Wisconsin State Patrol were requested immediately so that the scene could be turned over to an agency other than Kenosha police.

The Wisconsin Department of Justice (DOJ), Division of Criminal Investigation (DCI) will handle the investigation.

he sits up and fires multiple times into the crowd.

It does look like someone then hits him with a skateboard as they run by him, as he is shooting at others. He appears to continue shooting after that.
No evidence a single shot was fired after he fell until he was attacked. I'm not going to say what I want to say about the author of that article because it'll probably get me banned again.

In Atlanta, they rioted over a saint who wrestled with the cops, took a taser off of them and tried firing it at them. All of which was caught on camera and released to the public very quickly.

In Chicago, they rioted over a fake news story made up on Twitter.

In Minneapolis, they rioted because a murder suspect killed himself in public.

that still doesn't justify the frankly disgusting glee some of you have shown for the death of those people.
I'd agree with you if the rioters weren't actively trying to burn down the town. If you watched the streams on the two nights before the shooting, you could tell Kenosha was an absolute inferno and law enforcement/firefighters weren't able to stop it on their own. Thing were capital B A D BAD. The only reason things weren't so bad on the third night was the fact that armed militias showed up.

I have no sympathy for people who take pleasure in destroying other people's livelihoods.

stfu nigger lover. He killed criminals and pedos that should have eaten a bullet already.

They're communists, which in and of itself justifies their being killed. Furthermore, all 3 were shot while engaged in actively attempting to assault Kyle. Make no mistake: communists are evil, and they would happily usher in conditions that would see you and your entire family suffer unspeakable horrors if they got their way, and presently, they're getting their way. Every single one of them deserves death, and while Kyle didn't do anything unlawful, I'd still take glee if he sniped them from a fucking water tower.

get some help, both of you

so I did my own research, and I'm going to guess that this picture is what people are using to exonerate the shooter

which would imply that someone (not Kyle) shot a gun, which immediately freaked the protesters out, who then saw Kyle nearby with his rifle and thought he shot first, and bumrushed him. it was then that Kyle started running and eventually tripped and fell, so he grabbed his gun and shot into the crowd, hitting three people, two of whom fatally.

huh, looks like self-defense to me. PERHAPS I HAD BEEN MISTAKEN.

that still doesn't justify the frankly disgusting glee some of you have shown for the death of those people. they believed Kyle was a threat and they chased him down. that they were shot was an accident, and they were random. that people went through their criminal records to justify the deaths was abhorrent. past criminality does not justify death.

what I'm saying is that it was self-defense, but some of you people are genuinely fucking terrible people.

lol stay mad

Personally I'm fine with commies who just want to talk but the moment they get in black bloc and try to destroy things, they should get the bullet. Same thing with people of every political leaning. Violence begets violence and yes, violence against property is violence. Property directly affects people's lives and it's always the poor who suffer the most from the destruction.

“It really made me wonder why some people get shot seven times in the back, while other people are treated like human beings and reasoned with and taken into custody with no bullets in their bodies,” he said.

“How come Jacob Blake was seen as a deadly threat for a theoretical gun that he might have and might try to commit a crime with, but this gunman who was armed and had already shot people—who had shown that he was a threat—was arrested the next day, given full due process of the law and generally treated like a human being whose life matters?”

Probably because he cooperated . . .

what I'm saying is that it was self-defense, but some of you people are genuinely fucking terrible people.

What you're saying is you were completely full of shit and factually wrong about virtually everything you said, but somehow you're still a fucking genius and a saint and so much better than everyone else here. Go climb a wall of dicks.

Video from the first or second night:

Two guys were walking through a flaming car dealership to try to save a nearby church that was about to burn. In the end the firefighters got there I think. It's a good example of how bad things got, though.

get some help, both of you
This is not a fucking game. We are in a life or death struggle here. A lot of people seem to think this is some kind of game, and we can just tolerate these commies. Talk to people who lived through a communist revolution some time. I never wanted any of this. Certainly, I didn't imagine in my early years that I'd celebrate US citizens being shot in the street. But it's us or them. That's the truth of the situation. These people seek to destroy what's left of this nation, and that destruction will have very dire consequences for me and my family. They have to be crushed by any means necessary, to borrow their phrasing.

Leaving aside their criminal history, these are people who went to a "protest" with the express desire to use it as a pretext to commit mass arson; that is, to destroy the livelihoods of totally innocent people. They consciously made the decision to forfiet their human dignity. And they weren't even killed for that. They were killed because, above and beyond that, they decided attacking someone trying to defend the community against their rampant antisocial behavior was an appropriate behavior. They decided that, even though he was armed, their bluff wouldn't be called. It got called, and they're dead, and the world's better for it.

it's not okay to kill people extra-judicially. it doesn't matter if they had past criminal offenses. if they weren't given the death penalty for their other criminal offenses, then who the fuck is this little thug to be their judge, jury, and executioner?

but he a gud boi who cleaned graffiti during the day so he is absolved of any wrongdoing. he a gud boi who dindunuffin.

edit: tfw there are people out there who think killing people extra-judicially is okay and there is nothing wrong with it. humanity is fantastic.
We already established that extra-judicial killings of US citizens were okay when Nobel Peace Prize recipient Barack Obama ordered the execution of a 16 year old for the crime of being related to an alleged terrorist.

In other words, blow it out your ass faggot.

What you're saying is you were completely full of shit and factually wrong about virtually everything you said, but somehow you're still a fucking genius and a saint and so much better than everyone else here. Go climb a wall of dicks.

At least I admitted I was wrong. I had read the earlier stories, and then after seeing people going lol ur dumb I went and did some research. And then I came and told you I made a mistake.

Lol be mad

No, we are not terrible people. Druggie sex offender felons, those who simp for them to the point of burning down the homes and livelihoods of innocent third parties, and the Journalists™️, politicians, and corporations who cheer them on and run interference for them, are terrible people.

BLM and Antifa want everyone to be equal; that is, as equally poor, miserable, and full of hatred as they are. Their motivations are nothing but envy and a nihilistic urge to kill.

The Kenosha DA's Office has filed additional charges against Kyle Rittenhouse and also dropped the fleeing the state charge.

They've filed murder and attempted murder charges for the second incident, which is stunning. They've also added two recklessly endangering safety with the use of a dangerous weapon charges and a possession of a dangerous weapon charge for a minor.

they're going to throw everything at the wall until something sticks.

they're going to throw everything at the wall until something sticks.
Trouble with that is judges tend to look unfavorably on obvious political bullshit like this, so long as they haven't been hand-picked for their political leanings. Juries also tend to dislike it, especially since there's enough video evidence to show he was in reasonable fear of his life, and if you disagree on that level, enough to make it doubtful he was committing cold-blooded murder, which is all a half-competent defense attorney needs, and with L. Lin Wood involved with the selection, the chances of an excellent one being found are pretty high.
