Biden recommended a double barrel break open shotgun. not a modern pump or semi auto.

What that means is that they let him get away with it. If someone like Trump grabbed me, would I call the police? No. Would I call up the media and go after him? No. Would I try to sue him to make a buck? No. I wouldn't want to be publicly dragged through the mud. Every ex boyfriend / ex friend would crawl out from under a rock to give their take on me. Even normal people have skeletons that they wouldn't want to have thrown in their face to discredit them years after the fact. Now, if he raped me, maybe I'd report it but maybe not since he has enough money to hire the best lawyers and, again, what would I really gain by doing that? Losing my privacy would be far more traumatic to me than letting a guy get away with sexually assaulting me.

Just because someone doesn't report an assault does NOT mean that they consent to it. Sure, there are a lot of sluts out there who would let famous/wealthy men touch them just for the bragging rights or to make a buck off of it. But not every woman is a whore with no morals. And if you know that coming forward could result in damage to or loss of your career, would you really do it? The mindset that if a woman doesn't publicly complain about it she must have wanted it is a pretty retarded take. Nobody needs to fangirl that hard for Trump. You can like him and still say that he was fucking wrong about something. He's not perfect. No politician is.

Bullshit. On all counts, actually. Not a single thing you've said here even remotely resembles anything demonstrated IRL. Just nothing. I'd take it point by point but I can't through the tears I'm laughing so hard.

Remember guys, the objective in self-defense isn't to maim or hurt, it's to kill. If someone's coming at you with dangerous intentions, it's better for you that the courts hear only one side of the story.

Bullshit squared. The object of the exercise is to eliminate the threat. If you were to say -- if little Kyle were to say, but he's probably too smart for that -- that a defensive shot was intended to kill, it's also a shot to spend a long time in prison.

I like Paul, but there is no reason to choose a shotgun over a carbine for home defense imo. You get more rounds and faster follow up shots for self defense with a carbine. The argument is always for birdshot due to over penetration and even he says that it birdshot sucks unless you're using a hot load. I am also not convinced by the hotdog and steak ballistic target he uses in the birdshot video either. If you look at the premier units who shoot people indoors for a living around the world, you don't see them rolling shotties.

If you look in every fucking police car in the entire fucking country, you see a 12-gauge pump gun, not a play-soldier rifle.

They started switching over to ARs a decade ago. I'm sure some still roll shotty, but patrol officers also aren't an assault team who kill people in buildings for a living.

edit. Actually they started replacing them 20 years ago after the North Hollywood shootout.

No the objective in self-defense is the neutralize the threat, it just so happens that hitting center of mass can be fatal.
