One thing that has been highlighted is that during the first shooting the first shot was not from Kyle. On two of the videos from the scene someone behind Kyle, further behind his assailant but in the same direction, discharges a pistol. Not only can you make out the shape of a handgun, you can also see the muzzle flash. Given that was the case, and he was being chased into a corner I think it's going to be really hard to convince a jury he didn't have reason to believe he feared for his life.

With that being the case, I think it would be hard to argue the other two shootings weren't justified as he was being assaulted by a mob which was armed and had already discharged their weapons as far as he knew - at him!

I don't know whats worse, how wrong he is that gang execution videos don't outnumber superheros standing down in movies (I can personally recall seeing more of the former and I don't seek that shit out while I have seen almost every superhero movie released recently) or that he thinks that any amount of fictional superhero stories can compete against real life footage of real people being brutally killed because they were unable to defend themselves.
